Everything was brilliant! Paul and Alan are wonderful hosts - lovely relaxed atmosphere with outstanding attention to detail. Beautiful bedrooms, (the Hennessy Suite is awesome) with stunning views. Great breakfasts with proper toast!! Would definitely recommend and will definitely revisit.

We only stayed for one night, but would've loved to have stayed longer it was so enjoyable! We stayed in the Rosemary & Thyme room which is beautifully furnished with a great deal of thought to attention to detail. Even down to a small floor tray for your shoes! The bathroom is lovely too, with the best shower ever!! Breakfast, very tastey, would defiantly recommend the kippers, very tastey! We were made to feel very welcome, and would recommend to anyone visiting Hastings!

This hotel is perfectly located directly outside the North Terminal
entrance nearby to the South Terminal shuttle which connects to the
train into London, It is also close by bus services into nearby Crawley.
We stayed here for one night either side of our holiday out of Gatwick and both stays were pleasant with clean rooms including a comfortable bed. The rooms were quiet with no outside noise or disturbance in the corridors. Check-in was swift using the check in computer terminals with staff

The staff were so helpful and friendly. They called for a taxi to pick us up for our plane the next day before we could ask. The hotel is situated in a beautiful location. We stayed here for a few hours before getting a 4am lift to Gatwick airport. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the shuttle bus service is excellent. £3 each way from the airport to the hotel. There is a very good restaurant at the nearby Premier Inn which is 5 mins walk away if you don't want to eat at the Ibis, we had very good steaks there.

The Effingham was beautiful and spacious -- large room overlooking beautiful grounds, like a country estate. The regular-size bus with luggage racks was excellent to transport us from the Gatwick Train Station and back to the Gatwick Airport next morning for only 2.50 pounds per person per trip. The food was beautifully presented and delicious.
