  Really central. Literally minutes from everything you would want to see. Apartment was well furnished and very comfortable. We arrived way before normal check in time and our train wasn't until 2 the following day. The owner was quite happy to let us in early and stay until 2 the next way. Put it this way. Really nice guy. - Brilliant apartment in very good location right in the centre of York, but still nice and quiet. Very comfortable and good value, we would recommend to Friends and Family and visit again ourselves.

  We liked everything - cleanliness, well appointed rooms, daily clean and beautiful quality of the towels, superb toiletries in bathroom. Delightful staff in dining room and reception. Excellent breakfasts, and in particular the smoked haddock with lemon and herb butter - yummy! short and easy access to all that the city has to offer. - The food ... vad folk säger » is great. with friendly staff. They are busy but if you grab their attention they will be happy to help. The beer . They have ale of the week at a really good price. The warmth and atmosphere of this very old Inn which still uses gas light. Food great. Good central location.
