  The room is basically complete, room and toilet is clean, new and well maintain, friendly staff and the man on the reception is very kind to walk us to the tobacco store and bus stop!   We only had one night in this hotel and then moved to a 5 star in the Port Olympic area. The location of the Colonial hotel was fantastic. Across the street is a fantastic local area full of interesting resteraunts and bars. I had to book this hotel at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances, and I was over the moon with my choice. Very relaxing atmosphere and for the price I got it, you can not go wrong!!!!

  Very clean and tidy. Perfect location close to subway and supermarket (Hipercor among several others) around the corner. Modern furniture but a bit unpractical since there was no place to hang things (outerwear or towels in the bathroom etc) but maybe it had just been renovated. The location is really good, you can walk to most of the Gaudi buildings, and there is a metro station close by. We would definately stay here again

  I like the name, it is a great place to meet people - love the little extras like the curtains around the beds and lights and the balcony. The staff were friendly and helpful and it was beautifully cleaned by the cleaner.   - Great location, close to 2 underground stations, Tetuan and Passeig de Gracia. We walked about 20 mins to Sagrada Familia and about the same time from Placa de Catalunya (where we got the bus to the airport) - Free Wifi - Clean and spacious rooms. It also had a nice balcony. The staff were friendly and helpful and offered good sightseeing tips.

  At first we were not sure about Petit Born - the shared bathroom was a concern for us and we had not picked this up on the web site when we booked. However, Anna was extremely helpful and convinced us to stay. Even the shared bathroom was not a major problem. The breakfast is very good as well. And Anna is certainly a major asset - helpf - I can't recommend this place enough! I loved my stay there, especially as a female travelling on my own!
