Location of the hostel is the best possible in Barcelona. Couple of
steps and you are in the center of Gothic quater, couple of stations in
the tube and you are at the clean sea beach. Staff is very friendly.
Security man met us in the night (our flight was delayed for 3 hours)

Family apartment is in another building than hostel by itself. The place is in the very center of Barcelona, next to Ajuntament de Barcelona (the City Council), near Cathedral de Barcelona, so only couple minutes to La Ramblas street or Barceloneta.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The kitchen had plenty of crockery. It's a fairly basic hostel, but if that's what you want it's got a great location. -

The location was good, in the Eixample district - 10 mins walk from Passieg de Gracia Railway Station, so we took train from airport T.2 - only took 25 mins and costs 3.5 euros each. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful - nothing too much trouble. A very good buffet breakfast was included in price. The basic room was fine for a couple of

I can highly recommend this trendy hotel.The staff are friendly and knowledgable, rooms are clean and comfortable and we had a beautiful view over the city, from our balcony, plus a nespresso machine. Breakfast was excellent and this was leisure combined with business. We stayed in this 4 star hotel for leisure and thereafter went to a 5 star hotel where our conference were, but this 4 star hotel was much better than the 5star. Thus don't let the stars confuse you!

Wonderful stay. Central location in the beautiful and charismatic Gothic quarter, walking distance to Las Ramblas and the beach.Very friendly owners, provided with useful information and map. Also requested flight details so could greet us when we arrived, and provided very useful directions and map from Airport. Also free Wifi. Would highly recommend Mapamundo, thanks for a loverly hostel.

This was an awesome stay! The staff really care about what you're up to each day and that you're enjoying the city. In fact after I arrived and dropped off my bags and the gentleman working came running out and said 'where are you going today!' And he helped orientate me to the city awesome!!. one of the best and creative ways to stay. I wish there were more services similar to this where you get a hotel quality room and share a bathroom to bring down costs.
