  Location is the best, just 200 m from the prominent Chinatown MRT (can walk even with wheeled baggage- we had 4!), which is connected to every part of the city's sights by MRT/ bus. The hip Clark Quay is about a 5 min walk away. The rooms are clean, have a window and all essential facilities. Enough free literature available at the reception and quite efficient staff, though not too in - The Inn is only a few metres from the Chinatown Markets & the mrt is so close that if you have a fair amount of baggage, you won't have far to drag it if you catch the train to or from Changi. The rooms are not big but really clean and there's no elevator but its a very short climb up the stairs anyhow.. Your hardly ever there so its not a big deal!   The staff made our stay, particularly with their help in getting us on our way again. While the rooms aren't large, though we have nothing else in Singapore to compare them with at a similar price, the availability of bottled water and tea-making facilities, replenished each day, was very welcome.   Staying at Park View Hotel had always been a wonderful experience. It was actually "a home away from home !" I promised myself that I will always recommend this hotel to friends who would visit Singapore. Park View is merely a stone's throw away from Bugis which is considered a very exciting place to shop and dine. In spite of the repair works in the hotel the room was quite clean. If I need to stay again in Singapore on my money, I will quite probably choose the same hotel. The breakfast was not something special, but filling.
