  Hospitable staff. - Enjoyed the pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Very helpful staff dealing with the airline regarding a lost piece of luggage.

  I've stayed at Swissotel Merchant court a few times before this and still think its one of the best hotels. The staff will always try to accommodate me to my choice of room which has got a bathtub and shower.   We stayed here 3 nights. It's 10 minutes walking from the MRstation 'Clarke Quay', but they are building a closer station. Our room was not so spacious, but clean. We slept very well because of a good bed, we love hard matresses. You can obscure the whole room at night. Our view was not beautiful, but it didn't matter to us. The swimmingpool on the s - First, location is very central to all activities of day and night. Walking distance to the river night life and teh underground (mrt) . Second, acted as a **** hotel should and more: I stayed for one night to catch a particularly late flight but got hold of the hotel for almost 2 nights; late check-out at 2 P.M. , luggage stored, complimentary shower after my city tour (from 4-8 P.M.) then headed to airport by the nearby mrt. 9 P.M. check-out would have cost me 2 nights.   All was generaly ok - new referbushment , good prices, show inrestaurant in the evening - very friendly personall - The facility of having a room I could smoke in. I think that is a verypositive and brilliant idea

  The fact that we got upgraded, the shuttle bus service and the breakfast was really good. Easy to get to everywhere we wanted to go from there. Or you could just chill out if you wanted as there was everything there you needed. - The lobby area was very impressive, welcoming, and cool.   The staff went out of their way to make us and our young children feel welcome and were interested in helping us if we had any queries. Terrific breakfast - no extra cost for the young kids. - Everything was great. The front office staff were very helpful. It wasbetter than many other 5 star hotels that I stay at.

  Location was very nice, near Clark Quay, there's a shopping store just next to the hotel, taxi stand right next door. The pool was a surprise, didn't expect to have that nice pool for the price. The two bedroom apartment was large enough to accomodate me and my friends of 5 plus the built in laundry/dryer, kitchen and living room. To my surprise, the management sent a birthday cake to my room! Completely unexpected, and a really elegant touch. And just in case you were wondering, this was no cheap little thing, it was an 8 person fruit/sponge that was actually very delicious, and it took my partner and I 3 nights to polish it off!
