Great hotel, excellent location above the MRT station, Chinatown with many restaurants just around the corner. Excellent staff, very nice, friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is relatively big (ca. 20m distance for swimming, plus adjacent pool for relaxing, although only 1.20m deep). I received a very good price for this nice hotel, probably because the hotel is new and after only 3 months not yet fully booked.

Great location close to MRT station and within walking distance to Marina Bay.
The room we had was clean and spacious with a nice view.
Complimentary coffee is excellent. The staff are really friendly and ready to help whenever required. We arrived well before the check-in time and were offered early check-in no charge.
There is a good variety of food available for breakfast which is definitely worth paying a bit extra for. We also had some food at the restaurant and it was really good.

I really liked the location and the decoration in the hall and in the hotel. The staff was very friendly and available. The bed was really comfortable and the room as well as the rest of the hotel's shared spaces were very clean. They didnt have an elevator but there were electric escalators, which seemed like a nice idea! Bottled water included in room. Even thought they did not offer breakfast there were some great local breakfast places close by.

My husband and I was very impressed with the lady in housekeeping her name is "MUNI" she was very helpful, courteous and if we had a problem concerning our room she went out of her way to get the problem resolved.Thank you Muni for making our stay at Santa Grand Hotel very pleasant. Location was superb. Just across Chinatown train station (exit E). Staff Jessica was rather welcoming upon arrival. Allowed me for an hour earlier for check-in and gave me a free upgrade as requested and wished me a happy advanced birthday. When i entered the room, i was delighted. Right next to Chinatown with a Metro Station just opposite the hotel. Perfect place to stay if you want to get out and explore Singapore and take in the variety of sights and sounds. Some reviews will critise the hotel for not having any food options...i.e. breakfast included. But if you want to experience Singapore properly then get out of the hotel and enjoy the massive variety of food available on every street!

I like about the friendliness of the staff. They are all very polite and helpful. I have a very nice double room with a small area of dinning. Close to china town and easy to grab a taxi at anytime of the day. Clubs around the corner during the weekend and very quiet. I would definitely come back on my next trip

Although it's just a capsule room, it's surprisingly comfortable. The toilet is always clean and dry, no smell. The shower flows well. Locker, hairdryer for free. AC is cold! Blanket available for free. WiFi in your room for free. 24-hour breakfast you can just open the fridge and eat cereals, bread, biscuits and drink tea, coffee, milk. They also have microwave and if you still need to go around after checking in you can leave your bags for free. Computer with internet for free!

I stayed in 2 bed room appartment. we were 3 adults and 2 babies. The appartment was clean, and kitchen was almost fully equiped.
