  It's a boutique hotel which is located in China Town with various selections of restaurants. The design of the hotel is in chinese yingyang style which is quite interesting with all black and white. And according to local people, the hotel is worth the value for money. I have a very nice double room with a small area of dinning. Close to china town and easy to grab a taxi at anytime of the day. Clubs around the corner during the weekend and very quiet.   We loved this hotel. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The location was excellent and close to the MRT, bus routes and Clarke Quay. Although the room was small, it was clean. Complimentary bottled water and sodas were provided. The wifi worked like a dream and was fast. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was lovely. The safe in the room is large and works well. - Clean rooms, comfortable bed & soft pillows, they even provide orthopedic pillows which supports the neck! Great great Staff! Very helpful and polite. I was asking for an adress, a young Singaporian Lady at the front desk googled the adress and handed me a printed map of how to get there from the hotel! I will never forget this act of kindness!

Stuffs are polite too and location is good for visitors who can chill at the pubs around. - Really liked this place. Good location and the room had a lot of character.   Very convenient for everything, especially Chinatown which we loved. 5 mins walk to the metro- perfect with children - Proximity to river and China town good. Staff very helpful and was offered an upgrade. Chose the hotel as I had stayed at the other Furama before and was very impressed by it.

  I booked a room at Carlton City to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. I planned it as a surprise and requested for an early check-in such that I could surprise him with the room and a cake. Knowing that such a request is highly subjected to availability, I had half expected that an early check in would not be possible.   Stayed as a single person in a double room with a balcony overlooking the street. I really liked the balcony and did not find the street particularly noisy.   The hotel was excellent for the money. My room was clean, spacious and nicely decorated.The staff was very kind and warm. The location was also awesome but what impressed me the most was the attention to little details. For example; I didn't need to call the reception to get a dental kit, it had already been provided for me in my room. They offer a "pre- flight shower" opportunity for guests who, instead of going directly to the - We stayed in this hotel because it was only 20S$ more expensive than the backpacker hotel we stayed first. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was big and we even had a window! The pool is very nice, although the view is nothing special. Our flight was late at night and we could store our luggage and they even offered us to take a shower before we left for the airport! This is a great service that I have not yet experienced.
