  Location is the best, just 200 m from the prominent Chinatown MRT (can walk even with wheeled baggage- we had 4!), which is connected to every part of the city's sights by MRT/ bus. The hip Clark Quay is about a 5 min walk away. The rooms are clean, have a window and all essential facilities. For the price, and the location (right on temple street... vad folk säger » ), it is a great pick for solo, family, or backpackers. Enough free literature available at the reception and quite efficient staff, though not too in - The Inn is only a few metres from the Chinatown Markets & the mrt is so close that if you have a fair amount of baggage, you won't have far to drag it if you catch the train to or from Changi. The rooms are not big but really clean and there's no elevator but its a very short climb up the stairs anyhow.. Your hardly ever there so its not a big deal!   My husband and I was very impressed with the lady in housekeeping her name is "MUNI" she was very helpful, courteous and if we had a problem concerning our room she went out of her way to get the problem resolved.Thank you Muni for making our stay at Santa Grand Hotel very pleasant.   A unique boutique hotel that does not fit any of the above categories. Formerly a historic Chinese Opera house/opium den/brothel, it has been converted to retain as much of the original ambiance as possible. I would recommend it to people who want a more authentic experience, where the staff are friendly. Located right in Chinatow - I really liked the location and the decoration in the hall and in the hotel. The staff was very friendly and available. The bed was really comfortable and the room as well as the rest of the hotel's shared spaces were very clean. They didnt have an elevator but there were electric escalators, which seemed like a nice idea! Bottled water included in room. Even thought they did not offer breakfast there were some great local breakfast places close by.

  I very much liked the design and set up off the place and especially of the rooms. The pod like dorms were very well maintained and easy to get comfortable in. The individual pods gave you privacy whilst still allowing for interaction with other dorm members if you so wished. The breakfast included toast - 女子のみの8人部屋に一人で滞在しました。旅慣れてないので不安もありましたが、クチコミどおり綺麗で、スタッフの方が優しく迎えてくれました。場所は駅から徒歩3分くらい。キャリーバッグがあっても大丈夫です。入口は細い階段で2階が受付になっています。英語が出来なくてもスタッフの方が丁寧に説明してくれたので困ることはなかったです。 部屋は冷房付でベッド下にカードキー付のロッカーがそれぞれあり、キャリーバッグも入りました。シャワーとトイレも綺麗で6コずつくらいあり気を使わず入れます。お湯もちゃんと出ます。ドライヤーもあり、バスタオルは2ドルで借りれました。 私はオーストラリア人3人と香港人2人と相部屋になり、日本語を話せる子がいたので英語の出来ない私でも色々話せて楽しかったです。 ベッドはオープンなので足元が丸見えですが、思ったより気にならず、布団をかぶってしまえば平気です。 冷房対策として長袖パジャマがいいと思います。 WiFiは受付でパスワードを教えてもらい問題なく接続できます。 朝食は自分でパンなど焼いて食べるようですが、私は時間がなかったのでジュースだけ飲んでコップを洗って置いておきまし

  I would say it was very convenient to find Adler hostel, just minutes of walk from Chinatown MRT Stop. The moment i step into Alder hostel, i was being welcomed with a big smile and immediately you will notice the decor of the lobby was very European style(or at least i think it is) and the lobby was filled with rose fragrant smell.   Great hostel within EASY walking distance to all the sights of Chinatown. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Facilities were very clean. Owners have an artistic bent, and have brought that into decorating the main areas. There are several restaurants /bars on the same block/around the corner. Even though the rooms are small (same like other places) but nice and clean and very convenience, nearby mrt China Town. Easy to find things to eat and to go around. The design of the hotel is in chinese yingyang style which is quite interesting with all black and white. And according to local people, the hotel is worth the value for money.
