  This is one of the most pleasant hotel experiences my wife and I have ever had! In particular the wife of the owner paid every attention to our comfort and enjoyment of our stay. Including arriving at 5am to make sure our early morning taxi arrived to take us to the train station. The West Inn has a culture of hospitality that has been forgotten i... vad folk säger » n many other hotels. Friendly, efficient, clean, honest and excellent value for money describes them along with fantastic booking support from letsboo - Good location, it was a bit tricky to walk to either train station but taxi was under $10aud. One particular lady staff was very friendly and went out of her way to help, even driving us to the bus stop to get to fuji 5th station. Restaurants are close by and there is a store to pick up lots of supplies call Don quiotai around the back of the steak house.

  Very good hotel staff were amazing spoke good English and the onsen was brilliant. Had a massage there which was awesome. My room overlooked mount fuji which was magical - beautiful Mt Fuji view and front nice breakfast in front of Mt Fuji Excellent front desk customer service

  The landlady was a wonderful person. Speaks great English, was friendly and extremely helpful. We loved our room! It even had a perfect view of Fuji from our window on a clear day. The place is about a 20 minutes walk to Fujiyoshida station/bus terminal which has bus access to most parts of the city. - Wonderful place! She even let us stay on later than checkout so I could shower after my night climb of the mountain. Rooms are clean and comfy, Ryokan style.
