This is one of the most pleasant hotel experiences my wife and I have ever had! In particular the wife of the owner paid every attention to our comfort and enjoyment of our stay. Including arriving at 5am to make sure our early morning taxi arrived to take us to the train station. The West Inn has a culture of hospitality that has been forgotten in many other hotels. Friendly, efficient, clean, honest and excellent value for money describes them along with fantastic booking support from letsboo.
alla recensioner » Good location, it was a bit tricky to walk to either train station but taxi was under $10aud. One particular lady staff was very friendly and went out of her way to help, even driving us to the bus stop to get to fuji 5th station. Restaurants are close by and there is a store to pick up lots of supplies call Don quiotai around the back of the steak house. The hotel offers a good quality/price ratio. We had a japanese tatami room, that was silent, clean and comfortable. There's a good hot-spring-bath, available alternatively for men and women. The location is good, close to Fujiyama onsen and the amusement park (if interested). In the area there are also several restaurants. They were very generous with their supplies, such as toiletries, although we did not use any of the ones they leave at reception for people to help themselves to. They also freely lent out a wifi modem. the hot spring spa was very well maintained and great to use after a day out walking. Excellent views of Mount Fuji from our room at an affordable price, within walking distance of Mt Fuji station, but if you have heavy bags then best to get a taxi. Along a highway with convenience stores, restaurants within 5 mins. I enjoyed the location of the hotel, and the tranquility of the area in which the hotel is located. Room is spacious, clean, and there is high speed internet connection. The Lady at the front desk was wonderful, she made phone calls to reserve bus tickets for us and also ordered taxis when we needed them, we were very grateful. The bath area and the location, walking distance from Fuji-Q highland park. Restaurants all around. Street in front can be noisy so get Fujiyama facing room. Large room. The location is good, near many stores and restaurants, and we could see Fuji-san clearly from our room window!. Extremely freindly and caring owner family running its own hotel. good facility, good price. Nothing. Couldn't get wi-fi to work which is only available in the lobby, its a softibank connection and i think you need to subscribe or something. But there is a lan cable in your room for internet. None. One criticism of the hotel will be that it doesn't provide onsen facilities, which would have made the stay more wholesome and enjoyable. The futons in the Japanese style room were a bit thin. Its a little far from the train and bus stations. Only Japanese breakfast Very close to highway Not easy to find if you come by train. Some staff in the reception area can't speak English at all, so it lil' bit hard for us to ask information we need. none. Impossible to pay by credit card. Bad information by the staff of the hotel to find cash. In winter no breakfast. It seems, in this part of Japan, there are only japanese tourists.
