  We have just returned from one of the best holidays ever; the location & views are stunning and being self catering meant we did not have to eat out every day, we could enjoy simple meals on our balcony & just gaze out at that glorious view. 10 minutes walk (up steps) takes you to Pogerola centre where you have a choice of eating places, G... vad folk säger » erry always made us welcome at his pub and the food at the Brigante restaurant is superb. Amalfi town is half an hour's walk down the steps or there a - We utterly loved the position:its isolation from the crowds, the simplicity and serenity of the place and, of course, the views. Several decks to relax on and lovely garden all around our apartment too. We loved walking around the hills of Pogerola ( even the many steps up to the town square), and the walk down to Amalfi center, the local restaurant and the Pizzeria just 5 minutes or so up the road from Al Poggio. We discovered it on our last night and had the best pizza ( and very small bill

  Great location with well equipped kitchen. Imma, our host met us at the ferry and helped transport our luggage to the apartment. She presented us with a welcome gift of apricots, peaches and tomatoes....yum! Lots of room with our own private balcony that overlooked the piazza and shopping strip. Quiet with great black out windows for a great night... vad folk säger » sleep. The ac helped at night with heat. Only a few stairs from the main street leads you to the entry. Would recommend!! - The apartment was great. Right next to the cathedral square- all the faclities you might need, especially a washing machine on the roof terrace.   The location was only 2 klm on a bus to Amalfi .It can be seen from the hotel .The couple who run it were extremely friendly and helpful.They even purchased my bus tickets at the tabacco shop for me to save me going in to Amalfi each day.Bus stop 2 mins from hotel .Two great restaurants next door.   The hotel was very much more than we expected. The staff were friendly and attentive. Jovani who was the waiter and chauffer (for the shuttle service to and from Amalfi) could not have done more to make our stay as pleasant as it was.   My partner and I felt so lucky to stay here. Luciano is so lovely and was very helpful with anything you need. Luciano's mum, Julia is such a sweet lady and she is there each morning getting you toasties, croissants, orange juice, coffee. There is the bar and cafe downstairs which is great fun at night. The main square is just around the corner and have so - This is a hidden Jewel in Amalfi!!! This Bed and Breakfast delivers an very comfortable room with probably the most fantastic view on the coast. Absolutely stunning... It's true that their is a flight of stairs to get up. But that's what Amalfi is about. It's worth it! Throughout my stay, I felt completely enchanted. The staff was so friendly, helpful and great. Make me feel almost like you family, the real Italian hospitality and experience. The room was fine and clean. The location, perfect.

  This is the best place we've stayed in Amalfi. The owner is a spectacular lady - she loaned us a map of the Path of the Gods and recommended plenty of hikes which proved to be no less spectacular than the Path of the Gods. I would take my family back to this Albergo - absolutely loved i - Fantastic location. On the main piazza with a view onto the Duomo. The double glazing meant that most of the noise was cut out and we slept pretty well there. Italian style breakfast, with warm rolls and croissants. They also offered us juice and yoghurt.

  great location right in the heart of the village. fab views from my balcony too! really friendly,helpful staff. room was small but perfect and very clean. - The rooms were cleaned with fresh towels everyday including Sunday! They were so helpful with our 3 year old also.

  Hotel staff made me feel very welcome, hotel receptionist Teresa was very friendly and was speaking very good English. She explained a lot about surroundings and gave few tips. Breakfast was nice and served on a lovely terrace. Room was cleaned daily, was very spacious with everything necessary. I will return again if I stay in Amalfi. Noise can be heard from the room, but it's not a big problem since it's not crowded this time period. I had checked my mail box for several times already, just can't wait to rate it ten!
