  This hotel is absolutely great! The location is wonderful, when you go down from the hotel you're right in the central Amalfi shopping street. The staff was super friendly and nice, really great service! The room where we stayed in was beautiful and totally clean. It even had 2 tv's! The wifi in the hotel works perfectly, very fast!   We are returning from a fantastic trip on the Coast. Amalfi was our first stop and it was a great introduction to the beauty of this region. We have greatly appreciated our stay at Il Porticciolo and this is most certainly thanks to the owner, Carmela, who is a fantastic host. A few days before arriving, we got an email from her with instructions on how to get there, which have been very useful. - I have travel to more than 26 countries, and this hotel was one of the most impressive and memorable ones. Situated high on the cliff of Amalfi, it overlooks from select room and its rooftop terrace the harbor view and city viewers of Amalfi, all in one glance. It was perfect for couples, as it was very clean, private, and absolutely romantic. You can watch the moon light shinning over the sea from your windows. Carmela, the owner was very nice and sweet, and served us breakfast on the terrace,

  Rent och fint, trevlig personal, bra läge, frukostterrass - Excellent location, 3 minutes of walking till beach and station of buses/jets to reach other locations on Amalfi coast. Hotel is on central street, not on hill, very easy to reach. On the roof there is very lovely veranda overlooking the sea, with comfortable beds and shadowed space for ... vad folk säger » breakfast. Staff is excellent, friendly and very helpful. Rooms have nice design and are clean. - Everything here was great. The owners were exceptionally polite and helpful, the room was beautiful and clean, the beds comfortable. There is a supermarket right next door.We'd be happy to come back here and recommend it to everyone.

  Solaria is a hidden gem up in the hills over look the amalfi coast. we were a bit nervous about whether we'll be able to find it on the car at first but are glad we did (there are also good restaurants in proximity)! the owners are amazingly friendly, who provided amazing homemade breakfast, not to mention the beautiful room and view from the balc... vad folk säger » ony. We can't recommend it more. - Solaria is an oasis of calm and relaxation that provides excellent views down of the sea, a superb breakfast, wonderfully comfortable rooms with pleasant decor, and gracious hosts who genuinely care about the guest experience. I would highly recommend it and hope to return.
