  The view from the Santa Caterina is breathtaking, overlooking the sea and the town of Amalfi. Only a short 10 minute walk from town, It is out of the fray and traffic of the Amalfi town center.   I agree that Villa Rina is a small paradise and it's the best hotel I chose for the entire 2 weeks trip in Italy. I wish I can retire here. Rina is kind and warm-hearted. She cooks very well.   We are a young couple and everything went really perfect for us. Geographic situation: Amalfi is ideally positionned to visit the other villages of the amalfitan coast which is really a paradise on earth. There are buses regularly leaving the village for other destinations (Positano, Ravello, Salerno, Maiori, Sorrento, ...). The hotel is ideally positioned in the village, 5 minutes from the center but in the heights of the villa - We loved our stay at the Villa Annalara. Christian was so gracious and accomodating. Always ready to serve us up another capuccino. He also had lots of recommendations for sights to see and things to do around the amalfi coast. Our villa was very clean and spacious and we even had a beautiful terrace to sit out at night and enjoy a limoncello before retiring to bed.

  This is the best place we've stayed in Amalfi. The owner is a spectacular lady - she loaned us a map of the Path of the Gods and recommended plenty of hikes which proved to be no less spectacular than the Path of the Gods. I would take my family back to this Albergo - absolutely loved i - Fantastic location. On the main piazza with a view onto the Duomo.
