  Hotel was convenient - very close to ferries to visit other parts of Amalfi coast. Good breakfast. Be sure to get room above first floor for better view of sea. - Return visit - that says a lot! Hotel particularly suits my aged parent - we hope to return there next year!

  We are a young couple and everything went really perfect for us. Geographic situation: Amalfi is ideally positionned to visit the other villages of the amalfitan coast which is really a paradise on earth. There are buses regularly leaving the village for other destinations (Positano, Ravello, Salerno, Maiori, Sorrento, ...). The hotel is ideally positioned in the village, 5 minutes from the center but in the heights of the villa - We loved our stay at the Villa Annalara. Christian was so gracious and accomodating. Always ready to serve us up another capuccino. He also had lots of recommendations for sights to see and things to do around the amalfi coast. Our villa was very clean and spacious and we even had a beautiful terrace to sit out at night and enjoy a limoncello before retiring to bed.

  The hotel is beautiful. It is located in an old monastery and has stunning views. Our balcony looked out on the Mediterranean. It was quiet and you could sleep with the balcony doors opened with the cool breeze of the ocean on you. There are two restaurants, we had lunch at the one in the watch tower, which was wonderful.   The location was only 2 klm on a bus to Amalfi .It can be seen from the hotel .The couple who run it were extremely friendly and helpful.They even purchased my bus tickets at the tabacco shop for me to save me going in to Amalfi each day.Bus stop 2 mins from hotel .Two great restaurants next door. Jovani who was the waiter and chauffer (for the shuttle service to and from Amalfi) could not have done more to make our stay as pleasant as it was.   This is the best place we've stayed in Amalfi. The owner is a spectacular lady - she loaned us a map of the Path of the Gods and recommended plenty of hikes which proved to be no less spectacular than the Path of the Gods.   The view from the Santa Caterina is breathtaking, overlooking the sea and the town of Amalfi. Only a short 10 minute walk from town, It is out of the fray and traffic of the Amalfi town center. The walk was pleasant and welcome after a night spent at fine restaurants in town. We had booked a standard rate room, but had noted that we were celebrating our anni - Fabulous views, geat food/service, helpful/courteous staff, very clean , convenient facilities. Disney could not have designed a more interesting and adaptive property. The vertical distance from entry level to the sea side pool has to be 15 floors next to a cliff, with the guest rooms located in the top 5 floor from the entry.   Underbar personal, fantastisk utsikt, rymliga rum - everything!! the staff (family) were the best! so friendly, welcoming and very happy. the cappacinos from antionella were fabulous, the inhouse food was great, the location was the best on the amalfi coast, the views are spectacular. everything about our stay was charming and we stayed another da... vad folk säger » y on top of our original booking because of this. - I loved the view and the room was lovely. The staff were excellent and were always helpful and friendly in particular Antoinetta.Everything was perfect - there are alot of steps to get from the hotel to the centre of Amalfi but this did not bother us and we appreciated the exercise.
