  The owners of the guesthouse are very friendly, and kept the rooms very clean. There is always someone cleaning the bathroom and vacuuming the hallways. The kitchen is also good, as is the dining room. The bathrooms are kept clean and well-stocked. Each room is equipped with a sink, drain stopper, and soap. Some rooms also have additional furniture depending on - Everything! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by Ingi and his brother, who proved to be enthusiastic and knowledgeable hosts. We originally booked a double bedroom, but were upgraded To a larger room as we were staying for close to 8 days. They even lent me a hair dryer and straightner when mine blew out.   The staff Magnus and Maxine were always around and super friendly to us. We bothered them with a bunch of questions and they always answered us with a smile.   The staff were all incredibly nice and helpful, and they make you feel right at home. The facilities were great too (fully-equipped kitchen, hot showers with tub, and free laundry facilities).   the two staff members worked there socks off to keep all guesrs happy - The staff was extremely helpful in having the room ready at early arrival (arriving with a 3-year old child after a night flight made really all the difference!), providing us with information, and making taxi reservation for us.   A very good price. Helpful manager who delivered half of our luggage somehow left in Paris. The one-bedroom apartment has a good living room and a kitchen as well and that's enough for at least 4 persons. - good location

  I think it is not easy to find such a good hotel in the center of Reykjavik. The hotel is just beside the church, very convenient, quiet and clean. Three rooms share a bathroom, I think it was not a problem especially not in peak season. They provide shampoos, towels, etc. The breakfast is excellent, including many choices.
