  the room is really cozy and we had a perfect rest while living in the Centrum hostel. And the price is reasonable to accept. The location just in the centre of the Akureyri, therefore we can just visit spots just by walking, convenience easy!! - The rooms are very comfortable, more than expected. It's also very clean.   After a very busy month participating in work exchange in Akureyri, I booked a stay at Skjaldarvík the night before I was to fly to Reykjavik. And I am so happy I did. This guest house was like heaven on earth. It's outside of town (the perfect distance if you have a car), set next to the fjord, well decorated, tranquil, and surrounded by chickens... vad folk säger » , friendly dogs, and beautiful Icelandic horses. I spent my last night in Akureyri wandering around the fields and relaxing in the guest house's comfo - We really enjoyed our two night stay at Skjaldarvík Guesthouse. It is situated just off route one, five minute drive from Akureyri. We found the bedroom very comfortable and the shared facilities more than adequate. We decided to dine in the guest house on the first night as the weather had taken a turn for the worse – delighted we did as the food and service were both superb. I’m only disappointed we didn’t dine there on our the 2nd night (I found the local Thai in Akureyri very average). Bre

  Very friendly staff, gave a warm greeting when we arrived. The apartment was very nice, spacious, clean and very nicely decorated. The location was great and right above an ice cream shop!   The apartment was well equipped with a small kitchen, TV, and free wi-fi. The apartment comes with a free parking space should you decide to rent a car.   The rooms were very comfortable and had private bathrooms! There was a large, comfortable lobby with a view out to the fjord and we enjoyed relaxing there while soft music played in the background.   It´s a really nice house with a spacious room and comfortable beds and nice garden. We felt like at home. Well equipped kitchen and free coffee and tea was quite a detail! Everything was clean. A short walk to the center. We arrived a bit later and gave them a call. No problem for them. - The natural geothermal hot tub was cool. We got a room with a private bathroom- that was nice so we didn't have to share with other guests. There is a little grocery store across the street so you can buy food and put it in the shared fridge in the shared kitchen. Facilities were clean, great budget friendly location. Fairly close to downtown

  The apartment was really tastefully decorated. It was very spacious and had good amenities. It was very comfortable and the 2 bathrooms were a big plus.   My husband and I stayed at this charming little hotel for two nights while we were on vacation in June 2013. We loved the location where Lamb Inn is situated. The food is delicious, and they were - This facility was run smoothly with a friendly. helpful, and knowledgeable staff. It felt like you were part of their family. As an extra attraction, we also toured the old farmsite on the property and learned a lot of history about the area.The view was absolutely fantastic, especially from the hot tub! It was easy to get to the city of Akureyri which is filled museums, shops, and restaurants. We would love to come back again.

  Comfortable rooms close to the shops and restaurants of the city and right down the road from the ski resort. -An added bonus was the view from the 5th (top) floor- we even got to watch the Northern Lights from our bed one night! - The hotel was nicely designed and functional.
