  The owners of the guesthouse are very friendly, and kept the rooms very clean. There is always someone cleaning the bathroom and vacuuming the hallways. The kitchen is also good, as is the dining room. The bathrooms are kept clean and well-stocked. Each room is equipped with a sink, drain stopper, and soap.   The Capital-Inn provides good, low-budget accommodation in Reykjavik. The hotel is not in city center and you need to take a bus or a cab to go there. On the other hand, the location is excellent if you have a car and the hotel provides free parking. We stayed two times in a triple room. It was spacious, clean and warm. On the other hand we didn't have much trouble with noise from the highway – we we - We checked in really late which was not a problem. we we dead tired and found the most comfortable beds I have ever had in a hotel. The pace was peaceful and quiet, which was great since we were traveling with our 2 young children, 3 years old and 2 months old. Breakfast the next morning was very nice. Will definitely stay here again!

  The kitchen areas are great. The whole facility is very clean, has good lighting, is heated well and the breakfast offered is very good. One member of the staff ( I don't recall his name, but it starts with the letter j and he's from Sweeden) was exceptionally helpful to us. He was very informative, kind and patient with us.
