  We enjoyed a lot: the hospitality of all the staff, the big house, the cottage, the horses!! We were given a really beautiful cottage even if we've booked a double room. We enjoyed the also the countryside, the riding was spectacular! Good the location for a lot of activities and attraction around Hella. I definetively reccomend Heistemar for 2 or... vad folk säger » more days. - + Friendliness of personal in hotel and horse barn + Although we didn't get the booked category (double room with private bathroom) the owner was flexible enough to offer us an alternative, a small discount and a 'free' horse ride to compensate for the discomfort + The location is idyllic and horses are fantastic

  The guesthouse was incredible!! We loved the location. It is situated in a very nice neighborhood that is conveniently located a block from the pool facilities. And the pool recreation center was incredible after spending the day hiking! The owners were wonderful to deal with, very helpful and accommodating. We absolutely highly recommend the lovely Guesthouse Árny! - Normal room, comfort place for breakfast. Only 4 rooms on the floor with shared bath, so no queue.

  My dad and I visited Iceland in October of 2006. We'd originally intended to just drive through the country and find accommodations when we felt like we needed them. It quicky became apparent that wasn't going to work. We needed a "home bas" and Dad was adamant that he didn't want to stay in Reykiavik so we journeyed out a bit. I can tell you how... vad folk säger » we got to this town but we pulled into the local hotel. They were expensive and full but gave us the name of this place and another. When we arrive - The location was a 5 minute walk to the restaurants, and away from any noise. The price was very reasonable for the 3-bed self-contained apartment. Breakfast cost extra, but was generous and had a good variety. Wi-fi was included and worked very well. The apartment was comfortable and spacious - good size bathroom, lounge, dining, kitchenett and bedroom. The lady was very lovely and helpful. There was on-site parking. I highly recommend this for a relaxing stay.

  Really clean and spacious home. We were so comfortable. It was also a good value if traveling with a family or group of friends. We all had our own rooms and beds.   Very tastefully decorated guesthouse with a cosy room (including a sink). The breakfast offered very good choice with good coffee and tasty Skyr. The bathroom was shared with one other room which wasn’t an issue – having a sink in the bedroom reduces the need for the bathroom. We had a superb view of Eyjafjallajökull volcano from our bedroom windo... vad folk säger » w. We shared breakfast with a Spanish couple with whom we shared travel tips. The owner was very friendly and we had a great game of ball with her Ice - This is a fabulous guesthouse. The owner could not do enough for us including booking restaurants and giving advice about activities in the area. The guesthouse was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. We would highly recommend the Fagrahlid Guesthouse. Its proximity to the Eyjafjallajokull volcano and to the south coast sights is great.

  My partner and I stayed at Grimsborgir for three nights and we absolutely loved it. In fact, we wished we could have stayed for longer. We arrived at the hotel on a Sunday afternoon to a warm welcome and were given a free upgrade to a four bedroom apartment (No. 15). The apartment had three big double bedrooms, a smaller bedroom, a big living / dining / kitchen room (with working fireplace), - My friend and I were upgraded as a very generous courtesy to a four-bedroom apartment with a private deck larger than my own home. Since the place is located about 5 km off the main road, be prepared for a bumpy ride, especially if you drive at night.
