  The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Guest laundry was a huge bonus and the kids loved having swings on the hotel grounds to blow off some steam before bed.   We liked the fact we had a room that viewed the water in Traverse City! The gal at the desk was very accommodating, we arrived early and she could accommodate us and offered us different rooms to choose from on the 3 floors available so that is why we got the view!   Hotel was very easy to find. That there was a lounge for drinks & food to order so that we did not have to go out in the evening to find a place to eat. - This place was fantastic and a great price. Right on the beach and had a lake view balcony. Amazing place and beautiful town.

  I was there as part of a book tour in the region, with my wife, and our ten year old black lab. The place was perfect for us, close to downtown, easy to get out of the city. Friendly staff, very helpful. Whirlpool and pool pleasant.
