Spacious well-lit room with nice television. Location of the hotel was ideal for the seafront (where the new parkrun on Saturday mornings will be taking place). They put on an early continental breakfast (7am) for us which was considerate. There is off-street parking but can imagine that this is tight when hotel fully-booked.

The atmosphere was formal yet relaxed, the staff were professional and prompt. The room was perfect, very clean and comfortable! - Only slept, showered and left so difficult to comment, however one ofthe cups in our bedroom was dirty, left from previous occupantpresumably.

The traqnquility of the surroundings, dedicated commitment of the staff(not in your face but available to carry out every request made) and theluxury of the restaurant. - The club was lovely, we used the pool as much as we could. Lovely staff, great food, clean and comfy rooms, whole place cosy and traditional. Really liked it. Lots of parking, very central and close to main roads. Right next to paultons park if you are going there this could not be more ideal. I found the hotel quiet at night and just liked everything

Good value for money comfortable rooms nicely furnished and for the price everything I would expect. We have been to this group once before and will certainly use in future when in Portsmouth visiting relatives. Will definitely try restaurant next visit as Portsmouth really needs good quality food outlets.

Martin was very accommodating when our travel plans went awry and gave us a warm welcome despite our late arrival. We were treated to tasty local delicacies for breakfast.

This is certainly 5 star, I cannot speak highly enough of the comfort, catering, cleanliness and the host Martin cannot do enough to make yo feel like home from home. Every facility provided i.e Easy private parking, hairdryer, microwave, WiFi, power shower. , will even clean your shoes should you ask!!!!!! Will definitely recommend this hostelry
