Loved our stay. We live only about 30 mins. north of San Diego and try to stay at the West Gate at least twice a year. It is like being on a vacation even though we are residents. Absolutely love staying downtown. -
Very close to the Gaslamp quarter, this means many dining/drinking opportunities.

The location was great. The trolley is just out the door, and they are many shops and restaurants very close by. The staff was great. The room rate ($129) was exceptional, but probably not near the standard rate. Nice new or newly renovated hotel.

This is the best Hotel in the area from what we saw. The view was the best. We started in a "partial view" suite which was more of a full view. We upgraded to the "Presidential suite" which was a full view and a step up in luxury. Everything! I was blown away with the beauty of the lobby! The staff was wonderful, our room was fantastic, (corner king), the food was good (pulled pork was best I've had in ages!), and the views were gorgeous. I loved how close it was to so many areas of SD. The pool area (with the firepits at night!) looked wonderful, but it was so windy so we didn't stay. I also loved the old pictures throughout the hotel. If you are from SD it was particularly super to see them.

We visited Hotel Indigo for the second time after having a mindblowing
experience back in 2011. After all, the location is unbeatable and the

This is a beautiful hotel and are the rooms are super comfortable and
spacious. The location is excellent (right next to the baseball field)
and close to the Gaslamp District. The wifi was fast and there were
heaps of restaurants around and the cinema and good restaurants.

The outstanding staff is responsive to individual needs and interacts
with its guests on a personal basis. The room was pleasantly appointed.
The food in the restaurant was consistently good. After we left a small
calendar book in the restaurant, our smiling waiter was waiting near the
elevator with the book when we arrived on our floor. The cleaning
service accomodates individual schedules. High marks all around.

Location overlooking marina, embarcadero park is steps away for a nice place to walk . Short walk to gaslamp district for great restaurants. Pool, outdoor bar and lounging area is beautiful. We loved our stay. Bell staff and concierge staff very friendly and helpful -

Beautiful location. .Peaceful and relaxing easy access to down town via water taxi which was nicer that dealing with heavy traffic.The villa we stayed in good size, and good amenities. Loved the fact there were two showers in the bathroom. Amazing breakfast buffet slightly pricey, but I thought ut was well worth it. -

Our stay was wonderful, the staff at the hotel were so friendly and
accommodating. Janine the front desk manager sent us a bottle of
Champaign for my husbands 60th birthday! That was just so sweet. The
hotel had a luau, paddle boat ride to sister hotel, the food was
excellent and you have a choice of family friendly or high end dining.
