The close proximity to the Old Town centre and also the proximity to Down-Town and all the attractions of San Diago. - We got lost and the night desk staff at the hotel was very helpful in directing us to the hotel. She was very pleasant and courteous.

Suite is really comfortable especially for longer stays like 7 nights.The free parking were good. The complimentary coffee/tea in the foyer/reception were really a big benefit. Breakfast is very good.Free WiFi the best! -

The location is perfect! San Diego in itself is great but the Inn being
on Shutter Island compared to downtown sd was better than expected. From
now on, I'd rather visit humphrey's again and skip the major
hotels in the city. The location also makes it perfect for activities.
And the downtown is nearby if that's what someone is in the mood

This is regarding our booking. I have used letsbookhotel.com for sometime now. I booked 3 rooms well in advance, & had stayed at this hotel before(booked by AMA).
When we got there, they did not have your booking. They did not receive it. We had your confirmation. Luckily they had a few rooms available as it was mid-week. We had our hearts set on staying there as we loved it the year prior. The front desk says this happens ALL THE TIME WITH letsbookhotel.com..

Very clean and well maintained room and hotel grounds. Loved free WiFi
and Internet access. Loved free parking, free bicycle loaners, two
pools/saunas. Playground across the street. Lots of markets, coffee
shops and misc. Stores nearby, very convenient. The staff was 100%
awesome! The views spectacular and the surrounding area felt very safe.

Great location for sea world visit.
There was a problem at our initial check in which wasn't good. However I have to say that the manageress stepped in and resolved the matter with a real customer focus in trying to ensure we had a good stay. For me this is when a hotels reputation stands or falls in how they go about resolving problems. Staff were a credit to the company and I would def recommend to others

Our stay was wonderful, the staff at the hotel were so friendly and
accommodating. Janine the front desk manager sent us a bottle of
Champaign for my husbands 60th birthday! That was just so sweet. The
hotel had a luau, paddle boat ride to sister hotel, the food was

This is the perfect location if you want to get out of the car and just walk Old Town. The swimming pool is a good place to hang out and read in the late afternoon/early evening. -

Great service from the front desk. Carlos was accomodating with keeping us away from the elevator. They even let us check in early.

This hostel is absolutely amazing, and by far the best I've ever
visited. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, with helpful staff.
It's located in Little Italy, which is a brief 15 minute walk from
downtown and the Gaslamp Quarter. It's clean and has a very home
feeling to it. Every day the hostel offers activities, both daytime and
evening. Breakfast and dinner is complimentary. I was very comfortable
here, and sad to leave when my stay was over. Will definitely stay here
next time I visit

I like the location on Shutter Island with the feeling to come back "home" at night after a day spent around in San Diego.
Incredible remote view of San Diego downtown.
Very spacious room overlooking the marina, which is definitely better than the ones on the bay as there is the parking in between the hotel and the sea.
A lot of very good restaurants nearby in Point Loma: no need to travel far away from the hotel.

The rooms were really nice and the beds were super comfortable. Staff was very friendly. The on-site gym was under repair during my visit but they provided guest aces to the YMCA gym just around the corner. ironically that was one of the highlights of my trip as the Y had one of the best retired weight rooms I have seen in a long time. -

Very helpful staff. Clean, beautiful layout with 2 pools overlooking Mission Bay / marina. Very relaxing environment. I look forward to returning. We went to the FireFly bar (got in about 9:30 pm) and did not go to any other restaurant/bar. We left our car there the next day as we went to Sea World - walking distance and there is a shuttle.
