Very clean and neat. Good location. Free guest parking (though first come first serve and can fill up on busy nights). Staff is very friendly and helpful. Motel was very safe with security present nightly and room key needed to access motel at night. -

Lovely hotel-big room really quiet (don't hear other guests) &
hardly hear traffic. Super comfortable beds. Great choice for downtown
as away from the noise of Bars etc & traffic and close enough to
walk. We stayed 9 nites here in total -left another hotel & came
back here. Would absolutely recommend it & would def come back here

Close to the tall ships (star of India) free breakfast let me and my
friend (who did not stay there) leave our cars in the parking lot even
after we checked out while we toured all day also a big plus with me in

Best value!!!! I loved having the restaurant on the same floor as our
room. We visited happy hour and drank their signature cocktails for only
$5 each! And not to mention wine Wednesday - half off bottles!!! So
happy! We also loved walking to little Italy for dinner. We had a
delicious dinner. Our cab ride to gaslamp was only $13 with tip. Perfect

I liked the fact that it had a balcony, the bathrooms were a good size, the tv was a nice flat screen, the AC was amazing, the bed was incredibly comfortable, the restaurant/bar was very nice and the staff was extremely friendly, and the location of the hotel itself is in a great spot.

Was greeted at check-in with a glass of white wine. Just what I needed after a long day at work! The staff are happy and have great personalities. Probably because they let some of their employees bring their dogs to work. And the design was very unique and posh. -

It is clear from the moment you step food in front of the hotel to the
moment you check out that the staff at this Hotel love their jobs and
really enjoy working with one another. The hotel is beautiful and
impeccably designed to embrace the rich banking history that enchant the
corridors and ceilings. I will stay here again! -

The staff was the first impression of Gaslamp Plaza suites and was definitely a great one. Walking into the room I expected an average looking room with average looking furniture and found myself in a luxury suite. Location overlooking marina, embarcadero park is steps away for a nice place to walk . Short walk to gaslamp district for great restaurants. Pool, outdoor bar and lounging area is beautiful. We loved our stay. Bell staff and concierge staff very friendly and helpful -

updating it but keeping the historical touches. Great location--within
walking distance of many restaurants and shops in downtown San Diego. We

Charming boutique hotel with lots of charm in a historic building. It's well located in the Gaslight Quarter, close to the Convention Center and with easy access to all the things that make San Diego fun. The rooms are very nice with a fireplace and lots of faux-antiques that made the rooms look more "Victorian" and lots of fun. It had all the modern comforts while giving the impression that we were staying in Wyatt Earp's old San Diego. I'd definitely stay there again.

Ideal location. My experience made me want to move to san diego. Staff
had great recommendations, from cheap parking to good seafood. Great,
clean rooms..the bed was more comfortable than my own bed at home. My

Excellent position in the middle of nightlife (by the way we had a room
looking in the inner patio and we didn't hear a voice from
outside). Nice habit of the hostel is preparing one's own breakfast
in the kitchen!
