Convemient. Very clean. Nice rooms and bathrooms - practical and well kitted out. Easy parking. All the staff were so very pleasant and helpful.

It was all so homely and another worldy. Loved our bedroom number 8 overlooking the square. Yes, there was a little bit of traffic noise and mild rowdy youths reclaiming their car at night BUT it was atmospheric to feel part of a community. I loved it and I am usually adverse to noise.

The hotel building is beautiful outside and just a short walk from the River Thames at the back. The rooms are very spacious and the beds comfortable. Lechlade is a very attractive Cotswold village, with lovely houses and church.

I was placed in the Portland Street hotel which was conveniently positioned in the centre of Cheltenham. Accommodation was all I required - ensuite, comfy bed, tea, proper mug, biscuits (big plus!), and TV. Was also allowed to take my cycle into bedroom for my own piece of mind.

The room was very comfortable and the selection for breakfast was fantastic. Very friendly staff came and found us and directed us to the hotel and the parking and gave us recommendations for dinner. - The excellent staff working under difficult circumstances, as the people who ran the Inn had left without warning 5 days pior.

Despite my very last minute booking on the afternoon of my planned visit, Sue and Adrian gave us a very warm welcome and everything was ready for our arrival. We had a generous welcome pack, including flowers which was lovely. -

A wonderful experience also I requested a bottle of wine to be taken to the room before our arrival and what a nice bottle of w - claudiu was very helpful and came to the rescue at 23:00 after i left the key-card in the bedroom. breakfast was good value and tasty. all the staff were cheerful and helpful. i will definitely return if i visit the area again.

L'emplacement, en plein centre ville - Le personnel, très accueillant, très prévenant. Les toilettes n'étaient pas dans la chambre mais juste à côté, et cela n'a pas posé de problème. Le calme régnait dans cet hôtel. Cela sentait bon la lessive, les parties communes étaient propres.

Everything. Delightful house in charming setting. Room and bathroom very comfortable - excellent extra touches (decent coffee and toiletries, + bottled water). Large comfortable bed. The bed was amazing! And the staff were very helpful from start to finish - especially liked the new lass who was a trainee and had only been there a week! Sorry didn't get her name but her customer service was brill. But the same goes for the other front of house staff too :)
The shower was spacious and powerful.
The biggest bonus, as we were there on business and had early starts, was that the rooms are pretty much soundproof! Well done :)
