  Beautiful house, georgian in style and fitted and decorated sensitively throughout. Gorgeous drawing room with fire to relax by and consrvatory with honesty bar to meet most people's needs. Interesting literature scattered throughout for guests to enjoy. Very friendly host. Will definitely visit again. - Clean and comfortable. Pleasant decor and furnishing. Helpful friendly and courteous proprietor. I stay in a lot of hotels and you learn that the first thing to do is check everything works, if there is to be the slightest chance of anything being fixed before you leave. So when a light bulb blew I was delightfully surprised to find it instantly replaced without my even reporting it.

  The hotel was nice and modern and we received a good welcome on our arrival. Good parking facilities and the bar was also a nice surprise! We walked into the town centre during the day (approx. 10 mins), however, a taxi was necessary during the evening.   We loved the classic old style pub, especially when the log fire was lit in the evening. Lots of atmosphere with interesting photos on the walls. The staff were friendly and helpful. Simple way of doing there business. - I was placed in the Portland Street hotel which was conveniently positioned in the centre of Cheltenham. Accommodation was all I required - ensuite, comfy bed, tea, proper mug, biscuits (big plus!), and TV. Was also allowed to take my cycle into bedroom for my own piece of mind.

We opted to have a meal in the house restaurant, as we were only staying for the one night - the meal was great and service was good. Very clean and the rooms are very nicely presented, we had a great nite! Secondly what a nice group of staff.   Liz and Kevin are the new owners of The Coach and Horses....they only had been the new owners for 6 weeks at the time we stayed there. They are warm and welcoming. The pub/dining room is a historical building sitting on a major hwy. The guest rooms are in a "newer" building at the back of the property. I believe there only are 4 rooms. The village of Bourton on the water is only a 10 minute walk so it is well situated to amenities nearby. Food was excellent and presented beautifully. The atmosphere in the pub was very good and very friendly. I would defiantly recommend this pub as a good place to stay

  L'emplacement, en plein centre ville - Le personnel, très accueillant, très prévenant. Les toilettes n'étaient pas dans la chambre mais juste à côté, et cela n'a pas posé de problème. Le calme régnait dans cet hôtel. Cela sentait bon la lessive, les parties communes étaient propres.
