  The host was wonderful! Very kind and welcoming! The price was fantastic! Breakfast was not included in our stay but were very surprised to find breakfast food fresh from the bakery at our doorstep both mornings we were there. I would recommend it to anyone! On our first night there the host recommended a wonderful restaurant for - The couple of days we have spent there surpassed all our expectations. The owner himself just completes the overall impress. His friendly approach to all guests is, indeed, warm and exemplary.   We spent just a few gorgeous days at Velanera hotel. It is a pieceful place with nice, newly equipped bedrooms and very helpfull, friendly staff. We really enjoyed having breakfasts at the beautifull terrace overlooking swimming pool. Their scrammbled eggs with vegetable were definitely the best we ever had. The breakfast was excellent, we had to wait for it a bit long, but once it was served it was really good. The location is nice, peaceful, but you would need a car if you want to explore other areas which you definitely need to do when in Istria so it is a good starting point and an excellent place to come back to after day excursions.

  Apartment was very clean and the building finished to a high standard. 2 mins walk to sea with rocky cove, while small pool in back garden of villa offered a pleasant alternative. Although all the apartments were occupied, it felt quiet and relaxed. Discovered lovely woodland walk along side - These apartments seem very new. The apartment was impeccably clean and it was comfortable. It was also a good value. We enjoyed the bakery just around the corner and it was an easy walk to the beach and to the Dive Indie dive shop.
