  The host was wonderful! Very kind and welcoming! The price was fantastic! Breakfast was not included in our stay but were very surprised to find breakfast food fresh from the bakery at our doorstep both mornings we were there. Rooms (each with own small bathroom) are clean and suitably furnished. Trimmed garden with various equipment provides nice shade and place to rest or talk. The owner himself just completes the overall impress. His friendly approach to all guests is, indeed, warm and exemplary.   Owners are very nice, friendly and speak perfect English. Rooms and bathroom were nice and clean. Kitchen was good equipped. Outside was big terrace, place for parking your car in shadow. Very close to nice beach, the area around is quiet. Pula is about 3km from Pjescana Uvala. - Nice private patio on backside of the house.

  We spent just a few gorgeous days at Velanera hotel. It is a pieceful place with nice, newly equipped bedrooms and very helpfull, friendly staff. We really enjoyed having breakfasts at the beautifull terrace overlooking swimming pool. Their scrammbled eggs with vegetable were definitely the best we ever had. The breakfast was excellent, we had to wait for it a bit long, but once it was served it was really good. The location is nice, peaceful, but you would need a car if you want to explore other areas which you definitely need to do when in Istria so it is a good starting point and an excellent place to come back to after day excursions.
