  Erg vriendelijk en spiritueel - The host was wonderful! Very kind and welcoming! The price was fantastic! Breakfast was not included in our stay but were very surprised to find breakfast food fresh from the bakery at our doorstep both mornings we were there. I would recommend it to anyone! On our first night there the host recommended a wonderful restaurant for - The couple of days we have spent there surpassed all our expectations. Rooms (each with own small bathroom) are clean and suitably furnished. Trimmed garden with various equipment provides nice shade and place to rest or talk. The owner himself just completes the overall impress. His friendly approach to all guests is, indeed, warm and exemplary.   We spent just a few gorgeous days at Velanera hotel. It is a pieceful place with nice, newly equipped bedrooms and very helpfull, friendly staff. We really enjoyed having breakfasts at the beautifull terrace overlooking swimming pool. Their scrammbled eggs with vegetable were definitely the best we ever had. To rent a bike and make a trip to Kamen... wat mensen zeggen » jak peninsula with great nature and extraordinary Safari bar is a must. - The hotel is very nice, with spacious, clean rooms and very comfortable beds. The breakfast was excellent, we had to wait for it a bit long, but once it was served it was really good. The location is nice, peaceful, but you would need a car if you want to explore other areas which you definitely need to do when in Istria so it is a good starting point and an excellent place to come back to after day excursions.

Discovered lovely woodland walk along side - These apartments seem very new. The apartment was impeccably clean and it was comfortable. It was also a good value.
