  This was a great hotel. Very modern with good facilities and friendly, helpful staff. The room we had was very clean, in fact the whole hotel was spotless, and a good size with great shower room and good size balcony with table and 2 chairs. The bed was very comfortable. The facilities in the hotel were also very good.   We booked this hotel the night before when we had to return to Split and wish we had seen it on our earlier trip. Lovely hotel with a cafe and restaurant attached. The restaurant next door was also great value for money and has been voted the best in Split. We would stay here again - We enjoyed the view from our balcony and from the breakfast room. There is a small beach in front of the hotel. The english breakfast was good. The room was clean and comfortable. Good when you are traveling along the coast and have a car to visit Split and other beaches, having free parking in a quiet zone.

  We stayed for 2 nights after doing Sail Croatia for 7 days. The owners were very friendly offering to pick us up from the port, offering a drink on arrival and, noticing that we had been travelling, provided a washing basin so we could clean some clothes.   Family owened, very friendly and acoomodating, knowledgeable. They let us leave our luggage on check out day so we could walk around town for a few hours before our ferry left late afternoon.   Clean apartments with the added bonus of the pool and the magnificent sea views. The owner met us on arrival at the harbour and throughout the whole stay he could not have been more helpful, helping us with booking a rental car, suggesting good places to eat (and they certainly were!) and guideing us on how to travel directly to Hvar town (our nex... mitä ihmiset sanovat » t destination). The apartments are an uphill walk away from the main - Hrvoje Is an extremely welcoming host, who provides expert knowledge of Bol and the surrounding areas and can't do enough to make your stay a pleasant one. The FREE bike hire is a great idea. There is an abundance of spectacular scenery in which to cycle in. The pool area is beautiful too if you can remove yourself from the stunning 'Zlatni Rat' beach.

  The location is perfect for visiting the Old Town of Split by foot and even more. And what a joy to live inside the walls of Diocletian's Palace: good facilities, very calm (in February), beautiful view on the city square. I have been to Split many times and have in the past always stayed in hotels. This was my first experience with an "apartment" type of accommodation. I loved loved loved the patio for late evening relaxation and people watching. Everything was like new and very clean. Both Antonia and Robi were wonderful and were very helpful in making our stay one to remember. - The apartment was a very nice size for 4 adults and magnificently located just outside the western wall of the palace at the Iron Gate. The terrace was amazing and spacious with a nice view of the square and a beautiful Romanesque house tower with Gothic belfry and Renaissance 24 hour clock adjoining the terrace. No bells ringing thankfully. Very charming and full of history. A great location to explore the palace and return to wonderful accommodations.

Staff took great pride in their facilities.   The location is fantastic: 5 minutes walk to Diocletian's Palace, but tucked around the back of a building and thus absolutely quiet. Central Split can be a raucous party scene, but Royal Suites is dead quiet, despite its proximity. The staff is also absolutely fantastic. Someone also waited up for our arrival at 11 PM on a Sunday night. The - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Royal Suites, which is ideally situated near the old town. The highlight was the outstanding attitude of the staff, who provided us with excellent advice and support. Nothing was too much trouble for Maria, Tony, Tina and Lana. The room was very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed excellent breakfasts. We would certainly stay at the hotel again.
