Overall grating: really good !! The staff, depending on the person but usually very friendly and very helpful... Location is little bit remote from the harbor (let say 8 min. walk), but still convenient... Strongly recommend this place, and if I have to travel to Baltimore one more time, I will probably stay there !!. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. By asking what we were planning to do in Baltimore, they were able to save us $10/ticket at the Aquarium. Debbie in food service was very solicitous and welcoming. Altogether a great, short stay at a place to which we'll return next time we're in Baltimore.
all reviews » The hotel was very clean. A short ride to the harbor by cab only $4. The staff was very nice and helpful. In particular chris, he went out of his way to cheer up 2 ladys that had gotten into a car accident. He was also very helpful with any questions we had. Car parking is right next to hotel. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the room was a fair size. The parking facilities were convenient. The hotel was very close to the Power Plant Live complex which, whilst very quiet mid-week, is probably very busy and worth going to for a night-out on a weekend. Modern, clean and comfortable, in an interesting re-purposed building, with very friendly staff. Located midway between Mount Vernon and the waterfront, the location was convenient to both. Easy access to the highway without the noise and visual scarring. conveniently located near the inner harbor with good access to the highway. pet friendly. they have parking lot. there's parking on the streets, but unpleasant to walk in the streets at night. The rooms were comfortable and attractive. We enjoyed the hospitality of the Thursday night cocktail hour. The breakfast was had some of the best selections of all recent hotel breakfasts. I loved the staff. Chris and Matt couldn't do enough to help us out. Tyler was very helpful in suggesting aquarium tickets b purchased there. We were very grateful for their assistance. The location is within walking distance of the National Aquarium, Inner Harbor attractions, and Oriole Park. Everything , friendly staff , beautiful decor, nice breakfast selection, clean room and hotel overall. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous. Maybe the training gym is not really well furnished... Nothing about the hotel. If your not from a big city take a cab at night not the best neighborhood. Park beside the church two blocks south was filled with homeless people which could be off-putting to some. There was no luggage cart available for our check in. Perhaps more carts would be helpful. We didn't care for the neighborhood. My grandchildren had never seen homeless people before. Free wi-fi worked sporadically and didn't work at all in the evening/night. Very disappointing that I wasn't able to Skype with my family while I was on the trip. One small hook in the bathroom. No safe, no fridge. Wifi was very slow. No close- by food available, had to have delivered (staff very helpful). You need to buy some more comfortable and bigger pillows. The room was noisy. I could hear guests coming at late hours, which was a problem since we had early morning obligations. Also, we could always hear the plumbing from other rooms. Liked everything. Good place to stay. Parking fee. It wasn't that big of a deal but the soda machine didn't work on my floor and I had to flag down housekeeping myself for towels . There was alot of late night noise in the hallway, wonder if there is a way to sound proof the doors!. Cold breakfast. Location was not great. But would stay here again. I didn't like animals staying in the rooms. There were no refrigerators. I didn't care for the surrounding area. Lots of homeless people lurking around made for a safety concern. Location was a bit farther from inner harbor than I thought. The price; however, we are retired and count every penny. All that being said, we would stay there again. Walls very thin. We could here doors closing, toilets flushing. Conversations in the hall, etc. Parking was very very tight but seems like parking is hard to find there. - The place for that hotel wasn't that much, there is conscoinses f u became near to police dept. its noisey. Although the room was very confortable and clean the noise from the other rooms was terrible (you can hear everything!). The location of the hotel (close to the main atractions, but a lot of homeless people nearby). The staff were overall, unfriendly and desk staff were manipulative. Listen carefully when they read charges to you! Their parking lot fills up quickly, forcing one to park their car across the street and wake up before 8 am to either pay for their parking across the street or move it before it is ticketed. Oh... And breakfast is supposedly served until 10, but if they run out of food by 9:30, don't expect them to restock, so if you're hungry, be sure to get down to breakfast by 9. Small holes in bed linen, stains in fresh bed linen, some ragged and torn towels. Often dirty elevator floor (spilled soft drinks and coffee). You could sometimes hear the TV from the other room. Windows with very little sound insulation, frequent police and fire truck noise. Slept with earplugs. Some areas close to the hotel did not seem very safe. Price was a bit steep. a bit out of the way, but not terrible. Was unaware of a $15 per night per vehicle parking fee, the maid service was limited therefore we never got fresh linens and the weight room was extremely small. Ac did not work and it was unbearable!.
