The hotel is in a great location, the free Charm City circular passes straight pass the hotel. It is only a 10 minute walk to the harbour front and 5 minute walk to City hall and Lexington Market. The room was spacious, modern and clean. The breakfast was fantastic, a great variety of choice and the staff at breakfast were so friendly. Rooms was nice and clean. Nice am breakfast, not fancy and the room needs some sound proofing material. Staff very pleaseant and accommodating. Central location walking distance to Inner Harbor, free bus 1/2 block away. Easy to get to and use trains as well. We enjoyed our weekend in Baltimore.
all reviews » I absolutely loved my room! It was spacious, modern, clean, and the bed was very comfortable! I slept very well. Location is only 4 short blocks from Inner Harbor, and the hotel is surrounded by convenience market, coffee shops, and fast-food restaurants. Staff was friendly. We stayed in town for an event at the 1st Mariner Arena and found the location of the hotel walkable to both the harbor and the arena. This was important to us because we did not want to deal with finding parking spaces for the car. Wondeful service at an affordable price right in the heart of day downtown. The single queen room was clean, cute, modern, and more than comfortable. Breakfast was filling and with options. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The staff were pleasant and professional and most went out of their way to make my stay comfortable. The location was ideal to get pretty much anywhere. Able to walk most of town from the hotel. Felt secure most of the time. I liked the room. It was clean and cosy. Big clean bathroom. Cleaned everyday. Very nice breakfast. Hospitable staff always ready to help. I had read reviews before going where people said that they had problems with their booking that once they got to the hotel, the hotel said they had no record of their booking and we had the same problem. We arrived at the hotel, with the email confirmation, but they said they had no record of us. They said that they did have one room and could squeeze us in but it was not a good start. 1St room the key lock did not work so they move us to another room immediately. 2N day the tv went on the fritz so they move us to another room that was smaller than we booked but the accommodations were the same. They did not have the price as per our booking and they had to correct that issue. In general outside walking around Blatimore there are panhandlers but they are not agressive or offensive. Just trying to sell you a story in exchange for your money. I think the fitness room can use more exercise equipment. I did not realize there was not parking included with the hotel, but there was a garage across the street and it worked out well. We had a King room and it was very small, but it had a great bathroom and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast room a bit dated which I didn't mind until I'd had my morning coffee and woke up. Cooked breakfast was limited to eggs or bacon. Really nothing. I lked my stay there. Breakfast... could be improved, omelettes on buffet tasted poorly, coffee so-so, not always ready & lids do not fit, no veggies. One man and one lady really not interested to help at reception. My coffee machine was really dirty and i did not realize that until after i had made coffee in my room, yuk. Finding a place to park to unload was a challenge but we managed. When my sister called for extra towels, she was told she had to come down to get them. Not really "didn't like', but I think the room we had (210) needed more lighting in the main room. 1 bedside lamp and a dim light over the door was all there was. The breakfast, because they were undergoing renovation, was at the Best Western nearby, and was very limited, with no staff present. The Quality Inn's breakfast might be quite good; I don't know. I had soiled linen on my bed and on the bed cover underneath the sheets, which I did not appreciate. I want to recommend this hotel too my friends and give it the best rating possible. My room was very small and the noise from the street was very noticeable. nothing. No complaints!. Charge for the "gym and business center". Room was 50 degree's when we arrived and took 4 hours to get to 68. BRRRRR!. the room was hot. Freezing. Took 3 hours to get up 10 degrees. Was 52 when we checked in. Bathroom was beautiful, but when we sat down to take a bath there was hair stuck on the wall. Yuk. :( One possible improvement would be to have a desk chair that slid in under the desk. The extra couple of inches in a very small room would be welcomed. No hotel parking. The small workout room was not air conditioned and the thermostat read 95 degrees, very hot for working out. The continental breakfast is very bland. Prepackaged processed everything with polystyrene containers that get thrown away. The milk was spoiled and they kept running out of coffee. We rolled with the flow and ate sausage, eggs and doughnuts. No big deal and if you were able to get coffee before it ran out, it was good. -breakfast buffet. Breakfast was a little weak and the location wasn't great. Also the rooms were a little small. Staff were down right unhelpful and the young guy running the front desk was not friendly. Every question asked was like he was being inconvenienced. When given the key we went to our room and it did not work so I went back which happens but then the desk clerk had to treat me like a moron and asked if I followed the instructions. Not my first rodeo. The lobby is dusty and dirty. Skip breakfast its just awful. The enormous rats outside our alley/dumpster view. I counted at least ten. 1. Poor TV system (didn't get channels, like ESPN, that one expects) and unsympathetic staff when I complained about this. 2. Missing light bulb from lamp on night table. 3. Poor quality breakfast food (for example, cardboard eggs), with limited choices. 4. No cover on toilet seat. Room was noisy as there was a bar/club open and people were shouting until 2.30 AM. I was offered to switch the room but at 2.00 AM I was too tired. One of the cushions was dirty. Furthermore I had a long black hair on my bed below the blanket. dirty lobby and elevators, no fruits and vegetables for breakfast, small room. The breakfast is bad. Food does not look fresh, and most of it has been heated in the microwave (I've seen it). There are not many appealing options and overall the whole breakfast space does not look inviting.
