all reviews » Savoy Crest is in every sense of the word, a tourist delight. With my wife and 2 children, our expectations were indeed surpassed. We arrived on the 13th of aug,2013, which was my daughter's birthday, and in a twinkle of an eye, a birthday cake and merry party surfaced!, and that marked the beginning of a stay marked by high standard of service. iam fairly travelled, but i must say that in terms of service delivery savoy crest is ahead of the pack of the hotels that i have ever stayed in Europe. This is my second stay in Savoy Crest. The hotel is excellent for family short stays. Decent breakfast, room service with low prices for excellent food, good TV channel selection. I was told that there is a swimming pool but didn't have time to check it out. Underground parking and friendly staff. If you are looking for a luxury hotel, this is is not for you. But based on the total experience and Dubai costs, this hotel is under-priced. I plan on visiting dubai a few more times and have no inte. It was our second time at savoy crest. We enjoyed it more then the first time. All the staff are so helpful. Mr aquil gave us a lovely balcony room. Our cleaner pankaj was also so helpful. Whenever we needed help or advise, they would help us. I love the hotels location. Close to the metros and spinneys supermarket. Easy to catch a taxi. When and if we return to dubai, then we will most definitely return to savoy crest. Overall a brilliant hotel. The rooms are very spacious and bright, and very clean too. Whatever assistance you may need, the staff is always attending to you. Wi-fi is free in all rooms and public areas, which is good indeed. For personal reasons I did not join breakfast this time, but the selection is very large and satisfying. Staff is extremely gentle. The pool is nice, set on a quiet and reserved terrace, excellent to relax a while. Very good value for money. Everything. It's my second stay at this hotel and I will most probably always come back to stay here whenever I am in Dubai. Great staff, clean rooms and a location close too both Mina Bazaar and Burjuman. They upgraded me free of charge to a bigger apartment which I didn't really need since I was travelling alone but it was a nice gesture and also I could enjoy sitting in the sun in the mornings on the balcony. The apartments were spacious and clean, the kitchen had all the required amenities such as fridge, washing machine etc. The staff were very polite and helpful. Pool was nice, Gym is small but has all the basics such as Treadmill, free weights etc. Location was perfect, Burjuman Metro Station was 7/10 mins walk. A number of grocery shops are also within walking distance. The attention of all staff to our needs - very special people, thank you. The space for the price! .... VERY spacious for 2 people! My friend & I were very comfortable in the large twin, 1 bedroom fully a equipped apartment. Everything supplied - great to have a washing machine, iron & board, even down to sponge to wash dishes! Will DEFINITELY recommend. We were very iumpressed with the service. Staff were more than willing to help. The apartment we had was extremely spacious with 2 large size bedrooms with 3 TV's in total.including the living room. The furniture was of excellent quality. The hotel has a gym and sauna too. I would recommend this hotel as it was perfect for me and my family. Savoy Crest is conveniently located just off bank st, it is in an ideal location for shopping, there are lots of food shops nearby and there is also a prayer area just opposite the hotel. Staff was really polite and helpful.Rooms are clean,shuttle bus to the beach is perfect.Kids loved complimentary popcorn and ice cream/cookies every day.Close to shopping malls,15 mins drive from Burj Khalifa, downtown.Would recommend to my friend. Stayed at Savoy Crest for 4 days with my wife & two small children and i have nothing to complain about. The place was really good value for the money we paid and the staff was really helpful. Its also centrally located near shopping areas and Metro stations. I will surely stay there again. 5 *****. Pleasant surprise on arrival was the free upgrade to one-bed room, with a free additional breakfast for my daughter. The rooms are huge and spacious. Almost like living in your own house. The staff is very helpful and courteous. The service is also good. Overall a pleasantly uneventful stay. On arrival all staff welcomed us with the right hand on the heart gesture. Everything was clean and the room was immaculate, bed amazingly comfortable and the kitchenette with washing machine was more than adequate and with a large fridge. The hotel is located in a very nice area of Bur Dubai. Very good for a city trip and for shopping, and ten minutes by taxi to Sheikh Zayed road and Dubai Mall. Fresh drinks to welcome you, free upgrade to a bigger room without even asking, great staff, helpful and very nice to children, free shuttle to the beach, restaurant with excellent food (must try the indian menu....) for very low prices,... really a good stay. Quite conveniently located in Bur Dubai, this hotel has good value for money. When confronted with a problem, the staff was really apologetic and helpful. We were granted complimentary breakfast to compensate.The gifts for the kids were appreciated as well. Very spacious, we are a family of 4, we enjoyed the big kitchen, free wifi and parking facilities, just a 5 mins walk to supermarket where we can get all we need. The staff made us feel very welcome from the moment we walked in. The 2 bedroom apartment was very large and more than adequate for our large family of 3 adults and 3 children. Gym and pool were great. Highly recommended and would stay here again. Friendliness of staff - we received a lovely welcome when we arrived bleary eyed at 8am. Even though check-in is not until 2pm, they (thankfully!) had a room ready for us. The beds are comfortable and there is a lifeguard on duty at the pool. I have stayed for 8 nights. the staff is very friendly and helpful, they are always glad to make you comfort at maximum. I got a babysitter through them (she's one of their staff actually) she is really nice and has a lot of love for kids. The staff are really friendly. The facilities were great for the price: rooms are clean and spacious, and the kitchen facilities are great. The staff are really top notch though, especially Aquil who really went out of his way to help us. Location is quite good for easy access for public transportation. This time they make a good events for kids, which was nice for children. I hope hotel management will do this type of event for kids every year. More than excellent. The staff are amazing , so polite , so friendly and cooperative. They are taking care of the kids and offering free drop off to the beach and the metro. I would definitely recommend. Food excellent Pool lovely, clean Well-equipped gymn. we didn't need the sofa bed, since my young daughter insisted on sleeping with us because of feeling uneasy in the dark in a new environment. But I noticed that the sofa bed was in bad condition and bent at places and the mattress was dirty from long years of use. Nothing! :). Nothing except the quality of the washbasin area, which was leaning downwards and not of the same quality as the rest of the bathroom. Apart from this I could not fault these apartments. Had to wait too long before anyone would open the barrier to get into the car park. All is fine. No negatives. Although the rooms are fully furnished, some of the equipment's like washing machine, refrigerator need replacement / servicing. Would have been nice to also have a balcony. I loved it. There were works in one of the bedrooms when we arrived but everything was cleaned as soon as we left the hotel for dinner. There are two beds, but each of them is 3 ft wide only, and definitely can't afford two people on it. So our kid got to use the sofa bed at the living room, but that one could afford one person only, so how about our 4th member?. Nothing. For my room, there was issue regarding cooker, where it cannot go beyond specific temperature (middle level) because of the circuit breaker. Also i faced AC issue in one day, and fixed it immediately. on another day there was water drop coming out of the AC. So the bottom line, the appliances and furniture needs some maintenance and rejuvenation. Breakfast isn't worth the price - there's a nice cafe about 10 minutes walk (or 1 minute drive) away, in the Spinneys building which is about the same price but quite nice. Need to rectify for kitchenware items. Nothing, all were good. I have nothing to mention as negative. After a long flight and early hours of the morning pressure to pay you're bill. We hoped we wouldn't have to do the dishes. A dishwasher would have been handy. 1) Hot water could have been more hotter. Nothing. I don't know which kind of smell in the room and corridor A bit traffic sound. I didn't like the fact that taxi drivers do not know about the hotel and direction to the hotel. Savoy crest address and location should be publicized more for public awareness. the washing machine does not have a drier. this should be lookedinto. A little hard to find for the taxi drivers, but not really a problem. Kitchen cabinets were a little bit sticky with old grace. No Newspaper for room. Food cost a bit on the high side Not enough variety No spa and massage facilities Cleaning not thorough enough Complained about coffee replacement but no response. Not enough sunbeds at times Steam room and sauna not turned on.
