Very much liked the decor - youthful and trendy, unexpected but great. The room was VERY comfortable. LOVED the mattress. Bathroom was roomy. Enjoyed having the small fridge in the room. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was amazing. Would definitely stay there again. We liked the décor of the whole hotel, the breakfast was presented beautifully, the hotel had that personal touch being only three rooms and attention to detail was noticed,the staff were also very nice and friendly.We would deffinatley come back again.
all reviews » The service at SunnyMount was fantastic. THe room was decorated well and the extra big bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was lovely and very clean. The breakfast was delicious and well presented. Location is close to the city. The room was absolutely lovely and we loved the decor downstairs. Being able to choose a DVD to watch was a great idea, and the breakfast was excellent and presented beautifully. Would definitely stay again... Room very well decorated. Layout of bedrooms & restaurant very good. Cosy. Breakfast was lovely. Recommended taxi service was excellent, never known such a well organised service. Owners did a really nice job decorating and modernizing their B&B while keeping a nice touch of history and elegance. The breakfast served was five star quality. The signage could have been more obvious so that you could see it easier from a car. The only problem we had was with communication after we left the B&B, my partner had left something behind which we only found out the following day. We tried emailing to see if they had found it but, after no replies to a couple of emails we phoned. Apparently whoever answers the emails had been away and no one else took over this responsibility. Not a major problem but an irritating one. nothing, keep up the good work. I didn't like not having a door on the bathroom. also, not being able to get hold of anyone other than jenny, serving breakfast. tried to ring phone and door for owners a few times, but no reply. Parking limited to one vehicle on a ramp at side of road to rear of property, no oversight so query re security, however pavement parking seemed to be the norm there. That my wife and I didn't get there earlier in the day!. Difficult to find, as not clearly visible from the road (sign of B&B invisible, we even missed it by foot). In addition, Porcester Road is not visible from the main road coming from the center (City's fault). Nothing not to like. lack of parking facilities at the back although we were able to park there as we were first to arrive but you can park on the road if need be. Small room, as always though in England b & Bs. No complaints whatsoever. Lots of cushions in the bed room! We never what to do with them all - it is a frequent feature in B&B's so I guess it suits most people!. TV didn't work Noisy fridge in my room. the room was a little bit cluttered. Nothing. Traffic noise. Décor in room run down and a bit tatty, carpet edges dirty, holes in net over bed and floor and lots of knocks and smudges on paint work etc. Shame that the same attention to detail is not given to the guest rooms as in the dinning room. Shower was difficult to use. No biscuits!. far from the city. Morning waitress was boorish and militaristic. Complained that we had not filled in our breakfast pre-order cards properly before saying 'good- morning'. Wanted a precise time to attend breakfast or acted grumpy. Procrustes comes to mind. Bad way to start the day. No door between the bedroom and the toilet, just a curtain. The room was so small no where to put your case or clothes. We asked for a king size bed which was stated on the accomodation slip, the bed was only a dou le if that. The room was not made up when we came back from our day out, told the hostess but she said she wasnt surprised, which i thought very i appropriate. We think we should have had a refund. They even got the breakfast order wrong. Disaster is the only word to use. On a busy/noisy street. You had to drag your luggage through rocks to get to the front door. You had to carry your luggage up a very narrow/steep staircase. There was no interaction with the owner and if you asked her a question, it was like you were bothering her. It was hard to get your suitcases through the front gate. No door to the bathroom. Room was too small.
