Perfect location, very close to Trafalgar Square and picadilly Circus. Booked Deluxe room and were upgraded to Junior Suite. Biegest Hotel room I've ever seen in London! Spacious bathroom with seperate shower, lixurious bathtub with Tv!!! ;) Excellent minibar. Fantastic and really huge beds. Perfect breakfast. All in all very good value for money. We will definitely stay again at the Haymarket Hotel.
all reviews » Our deluxe room was beautiful and quirky (also the rest of the hotel). Amenities were complete (miller harris toiletries smelled great, good size too). Concierge and staff were very helpful and accommodating. Free fast wifi and buffet breakfast were great too. Good west end theatres within comfortable walking distance (to watch Les Miserables, The Phantom of the Opera and soon The Book of Mormon). Great staff, (especially Courtney!)-some of the best trained staff I have encountered, in fact. Lovely cocktail bar and restaurant, beautiful rooms and great facilities. Very quiet given its extremely central location. We went to Her Majesty's Theatre and as it was raining,we only had a swift journey across the road to get there. Our room was spacious and quiet. I could watch television in the bath. The bed was massive. Loved the whole place! Such a stylish and beautiful place to stay. Amazingly comfortable bed, spacious room for city hotel, such attention to detail and delicious breakfast. We were upgraded on arrival to a fantastic suite. The staff were superb and attentive. Decor Staff. everything!. Everything. Great location and friendly staff. Concierge was asked twice to organize theatre tickets, but as staff changed so often our requests got somehow lost. The pool in the basement is fantastic, however the air in the pool area is too cool. In the morning it gets a bit noisy outside, not sure if it is the garbage collector or what. Also you tend to hear the ambulance or police siren a lot (they pass trafalgar square or the streets near us a lot I suppose. Sometimes late at night you also hear (highly likely) drunk loud people passing by, as there are plenty of restaurants, bars, etc in the area. 40% loading on room rate for 'incidentals'-I find this practice reprehensible and dishonest. It was reduced on request. Sadly pool not available when we were there. Otherwise, nothing to say. So good!. We were only staying for one night!!!. absolutely nothing!. Side seating chairs could have been more comfortable in the rooms. There's many pubs and bars around that area which I don't like and feel insecure when walkin on the street, besides the hotel wasn't easy to find... The steps in the room are not practical. Food not so great. Lapses in service. Most staff were great, but there were a few lapses, ie forgetting to make a dinner reservation when requested.. it's a real pity that in the night there are so many noises:the truck that collect garbage and the truck that collect glass, 2 or 3 times in one night... No complimentary tea/coffee facilities in the room. Had to go home!!. the breakfast at the BRUMUS - heavy, lot's of fuss about it, and lacks any element of cheerfulness. Been there twice and both times swimming pool was occupied. Was offered complimentary newspaper but never delivered. Breakfast buffet was sub-standard.
