Location: the area is very diverse, and cuisines from Thai through Halal to Polish are reasonably catered. The Stratford station of London Underground and a stop with regular bus services to the Stansted airport are also within walking distance, at around a kilometre from the hotel. The room was OK, and there was a desk for work. The Internet connection was excellent. Room was clean and tidy. Bed comfy. Shower was very good. Was only 15 minute walk to Westfield and station. Olympic park near as well. If your looking for somewhere to just drop bags in and sleep. Then this place is good.
all reviews » The Glorydale Inn was beyond expectations for a hotel in London costing £65 a night. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend the Glorydale Inn. Willing all guys at reception desk, nothing was problem, they support. It was really a nice surprise. Bus Station is opposite the hotel, Tube/Railway Station Stratford is closely. Room and bathroom lovely and clean, was ideal for what we needed two minute walk to the station so was easy to get into the city. Local tesco further up the road which was ideal. The decor is tasteful, a member of staff is on call 24 hrs, they are very friendly, the shower was better than l have experienced in the more well known expensive hotels. Clean rooms, new beds and bathroom, good heating, great value for money, friendly staff, bus stop to station right outside. Good for young couples. The staff was very nice to me. If you have a tourist oyster card can get a bus to stratford station in front of hotel. What the room had to offer for my one night stay. Great tele, bed, ideal place and just a relaxing and pleasant stay. Very good location, easy to find. The stuff are all very friendly and polite. The rooms are new and ever so modern!. No breakfast, but the nearby restaurants (and a Tesco) provide an adequate cover for short stays. Beware that the hotel has some rooms that have an on-suite toilet but no shower, and also rooms that have both a toilet and a shower. In my first stay there, I made the mistake of assuming one goes with the other, but the receptionist helpfully upgraded my room once I realised the error. No tea or coffee in room. Smaller rooms, but corresponding to price... Wasn't any facilities to food and no car parking. If you had anything to eat passers by from the street can see you eating the front of the eating area should be frosted out at least to shoulder height when seated so you can see out. Wasn't enough knives, forks or spoons in the kitchen, no pots and pans for the hot plate provided. Small rooms, but that didn't bother us too much. Not much easy to find. Neighborhood little weird. Would be extra great if there was a vending machine for drink/snacks etc. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Couldn't find a hairdryer though it states there is one in the rooms on the website. Nothing. Due to the heat the room was very hot only a small window. You could even hear the whispers of the neighbours. Bags were left where they could be taken. room bit hot, could have had a way to cool down room. they do not have breakfast. hope to have a kettle in the room. Bed wasn't the most comfortable and no air con; but we were there on the hottest day of the year so far. The weather was unusually hot, and so the airflow seemed stagnant. The breakfast/eating area was not very comfortable. Not really much to say as I was staying there only one night. One thing that came to my mind: Having cup, bowl, spoon and fork would explain why kettle is in the room, because without it? I can't find any use for it. I was not so pleased about the lack of toiletries in the bathroom or lack of tolwels the heating was too much as we didnt know how to turn it off,with no phone to ccontact reception. tea/coffee should have been in the room aswell as a fridge. i would like t o have thought for the price £74 we would have been provided with more. Poor access to wifi; the bathroom is quite small. Tv did not work. The smell in the basement rooms is horrible. The rooms should be cleaner, and so does the sheets. no air conditioning, there was a broken WC seat cover in bathroom. Wifi did not work for long periods. Communal shower in a cupboard. No tea or coffee making and no beaker in the room for a drink no breakfast but website says "B&B". surrounding. Shower which was outside the room had no lock. the single room is too small, no kettle , very inconvenient for tea or coffee making. No safe box, bathtub, no heating or air-condition. no access to room cupboards, noisy neighbours banging on the door till midnight no access to wifi connection in the room initially allocated and no tv coverage ., but the room given after that was nicer. Bathroom very small Toilet seat broken. no car parking. There was no elevator and the stairs were very narrow, it was very hard for me to carry my luggage up and down. The room was too small and next to the street, one of the window was broken and could not be closed very well, so it was very noisy during the night. And I could even hear the sound from the room next to mine...It was a bit far away from Stradford metro station. - Very small room for 2 people - very noisy street, not possible to sleep with open window - for 4 days no cleaning service - our friend has experienced reservation confusion, and we also witnessed some unclear deailing with customers who booked rooms and when they arrived the room was not available, although staff tried to contact the customers. Basement bedroom was very stuffy and noisy. The bed was also cheap. shower required ventilation. very noisy neighbours. Lack of ac and shower. Blood stains on the pillow, weak internet connection in my room and sketchy neighborhood.
