The room was excellent, spacious, clean and very comforting. Staff were friendly and most of all the receptionist Sertac who was extremely friendly and helpful and would go the extra mile to help the guests, I believe all receptionists should be like him. the gardens, sports courts, playgrounds, swimming pools, all were great.

We had the most beautiful 2 days staying at the Bertiz Hotel on the very pretty island of Bozcaarda, Turkey. We needed some time out from busy Istanbul and contemplative Gallipoli and we certainly hit the jackpot with Bertiz owned by the very capable Kemal. First of all the location is very important. The place is very close to city center and also to the public transportation stations such as metro and busses. when i booked this hostel i booked for 3 person for 2 beds for 2 male , and 1 for female. but when we got there they provide us 1 double room not 2 bed in a six dormitory dorm, and 1 bed in a female dorm , so we could used the room for 3 person becasue the bed was enough for 2 person, so it was like we are living in a hotel not hostel . the hostel was so clean, and everything was ok.

Location - Only a few minutes walk from the blue mosque and another few minutes will take you to Ayasofya and other major attractions. There was a mosque too right next to our room, but only for males.
Market - we arrived on Wednesday and there was a market selling fruit, vegetables, cheeses and much more. A good way to save on food!
They provide a small gas burner and basic cutlery, you might want to bring a small pocket knife.
