Me and my husband had an absolutely fantastic treat from the time we got to the hotel to the time we took off again. The atmosphere was super nice, quiet and comfortable and we felt at home from the very 1st second we entered the door where Emir welcomed us. We booked a rather large room so we enjoyed the spacy room. We have stayed at Faik Pasha for two nights. This hotel is an excellent option in İstanbul. We chose this hotel due to the Taksim square protests. young kids. A small grocery store and money exchange in the back street. -
The size of the apartment was of a good size of about 36 sq.m with the sofa bed being able to be folded into bed making our stay with the Kids much conveninent. The location of the apartment is excellent within close proximity to the shopping area of Estiqlal in Taksim and also metro/trump stations. The hospitality of the management was handled with excellent care by Mr. Takin and his team.

Staff were very kind and helpful specially Zainab she speaks englsih very well. Very comfortable suite, The room was beautifully decorated. Staff a real gem. Excellent staff ( Yildirim and Ofuk). The staff was supper nice. The owner, Aziz, was helpful and tried to help ASAP. Very close to Galata Tower and Galata bridge and to the Bosphoros. Walking distance to cruises, bazaar, and historic sites. Metro station Sishane at walking distance.

A classic hotel, which I've used twice before, in 1995 & 2005, before its recent refurbishment. It's now three times the price, but the grandeur is no longer faded, it's now a true 5-star place. And I'm delighted to say that the refurb hasn't spoilt its character at all, as this is a hotel with more character and history than most! Staff were great, we got a room upgrade, and an extra hour extended checkout wasn't a problem. If we return to Istanbul, it'll be the Pera Palas for us!

Room were nice, not that big but cozy. Good wifi in room ( we even saw movies on-line)
