  Konak Hotel is the best - We really enjoyed our 4 nights stay in Istanbul. Friendly and always helping receptionists. Room was arranged every day. My 3 year old son was very comfortable. Room is ideal for couple with one kid. Located very close to Taksim and close to shopping street. Taxis come next to the door. Perfect value for money. - Konak is within a short walk of the Istanbul Congress Centre as well as the subway, tram and Taksim Square. The staff were really helpful and there was usually someone around speaking English. Good breakfast and reasonable restaurant. Very nice bathrooms.

  We have stayed at Faik Pasha for two nights. This hotel is an excellent option in İstanbul. We chose this hotel due to the Taksim square protests. It is very close to İstiklal Street but it is located in very secure region of Taksim. The room was very well appointed, real boutique hotel style.   I booked Deluxe One-Bedroom Apartment with Sea View, the apartment is very spacious, clean and well-furnished. Wireless internet is provided with free of charge and the speed is excellent. Everywhere is properly cleaned, all equipments and facilities are up and running, good customer service, 24hr room service and you find taxis parked outside all the time(24hr).
