We were there at the time of the Taksim square demonstrations so traffic-wise it was a bit complicated to get in and out. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment. The apartment was very clean and very new with nice finishing and was cleaned everyday. The staff were very friendly and helped us in booking restaurants/clubs and speak good English.
