The staff are all excellent and very kind and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and the view on the terrace is great. The rooms are comfortable and the cleaning staff are meticulous! Ask for a room with a water view if you can!

  Was a Decent place to stay with large bedroom . Location is excellent and 10 min walking distance from blue mosque grand bazaar Hague Sophia . Breakfast was same all 5 days but then basics were provided . Don't expect much . . However the owner have us a warm welcome . And the reception staff was courteous.   The rooms at Tophane Aparts, are excellent and definitely above other hotels in the same price range. The staff were very accomodating, allowing us to check in early after a long flight from SA.   Everything was perfect! The location was not to close to overcrowded tourist areas but still close enough to some of the city's major attractions. The staff was wonderful and always helpful. Clean rooms with new furniture: beds for adults and a child, wardrobe, table, chairs, etc. Kitchen corner, frige, gas cooker, cups, plates, and utensils.The apartmants are in the old part of Istanbul, 20-25 min walk to Hagia Sophia. 5 min to the sea embankment, a fish market and fish restaurants.   The location is great. The hotel owners are very friendly. They give you a briefing on the main sights. The hotel is new and tastefully decorated. I especially appreciate the private airport transfer service at 35 lira, which is about 5 more than a taxi. But many taxi drivers may not find this place. Taxi drivers in Istanbul are also not very... what people say » honest. So I highly recommend using the service (a big van!) when arriving in Istanbul. - The owners were amazing, taking the time to explain the history of Istanbul and lay out an itinerary for us on our tight schedule! The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk from the Sultanahmet tram stop and it takes roughly an hour to get to from the Ataturk Airport. My fiance and I would highly recommend this hotel as it is an amazing value and right near the Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia and Topkapi Palace.

  Each time we arrived "home" to this hotel we were greeted with exceptional warmth. Arriving back after a very difficult day's travel we were treated to a share of the family's meal.....a delicious share! The location of the hotel is great. If it wasn't for the construction in front of the apartment, and the tractor blocking the other walk path the first few days of our stay, we wouldn't have to walk too much up n downhill. (Abt 15-20 minutes walk) We did enjoy the last 2 days (we were there for 5days) when we finally figured out the shorter w - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chiconomy Suites. Mehmet is extremely professional, accommodating to guests, and very prompt in getting back to emails. The hotel transfer from Sabiha was prompt and reasonably priced for a family of four (50 euro). The location is very convenient (walking distance) to Taksim, Istiqlal St., Galata Tower. Finally, the apartment was clean and the interior furnishings new and attractive. We will be coming back!

  We have stayed at Faik Pasha for two nights. This hotel is an excellent option in İstanbul. We chose this hotel due to the Taksim square protests. It is very close to İstiklal Street but it is located in very secure region of Taksim. The room was very well appointed, real boutique hotel style. In summary, everything is excellent. - Great location. Easy to move from there to visit the city and rich of bar pub cafe and nightlife.
