Excellent location, just few walking steps from Suvarnabhumi Airport express train station, and few steps as well from the subway station, with only a short subway ride to Siam shopping area. I felt secured with the 24 hour reception and elevator only be room key operation. Room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. Internet worked well. Breakfast was adequate, and the complementary drinking water was nice. Very friendly staff, when I arrived from Phuket on my way to catch my flight bac.
all reviews » We were staying in Unico just for 1 night, but liked hotel very much. Ideally located - near Airport Link Makassan station and Phetchaburi MRT - thus, not problem coming from Airport and back and to reach any places via MRT/BTS. The hotel itself is brand new (just about 8-9 months since opening) with absolutely clean and comfy business style rooms equipped with everything you may need during short stay in BKK. The personnel speaks good English and ready to help you when required. Breakfast was . We stayed there for 3 nights & really enjoyed it.. It's a very modern & very clean hotel.The staff are very helpful & polite. I loved the lifts, the rooms, the reception area & the in hotel restaurant. They did deliver an excellent service, always greeting us in & out of the hotel.Also the the tube station is bang opposite the hotel, which is very convienant to get a round, the MRT station is called Pethcaburi & we did use to get around comfortably.. Really, wud I stay h. We booked three-night stay in Unico Premier Metrolink but due to overbooking issue (probably system error), there was no room for our first night. Although it was something unexpected but we like the hotel staffs who had everything well-arranged before our arrival. They offered us to stay in an upgraded hotel and covered the transportation as well. Besides, the staffs were always very friendly and gave us great trip advises. And above all, location is the best benefit of it which locates next t. I stayed for 2 nights. I really enjoyed my stay.I choosed the hotel coz is near a metro station on the wayfrom the airport.... although its really close to Makassan and phuchapuri stations .. its a little hard to find as its new noteverybody knows it. Its really clean breakfast is amazing room is small but worked for me. decoration was nice . i really recomend it as a excellent value for money and nice place to stay. The location is surprisingly good, close to two metro stations. The rooms are clean, the shower works amazingly, there are English news channels to keep you up to date, the food in the restaurant is good. Really no complaints, especially after having seen the neighborhoods where the big famous hotels are. As another big plus. we got upgraded to a bigger better room for free. Great stuff, really friendly and available. Our boat was 4 our late and they waited for us for all the night long!They offer us a free dinner (unfortunately we didn't have the change to try it). The location is so great, 2 minutes from Petchaburi Tube Station and from Massakan train station (35 minutes far from the airport). Breakfast nothing especially but not bad. Excellent little hotel located right by the metro, making it convenient to travel into the city and out to the airport. It is in a quiet lane right behind a busy intersection so you get peace and quiet and bustle and everything a short walk away. We were only here for a night before taking a flight out to phuket. Staff were excellent. Went out of their way on numerous occasions to suit our needs. Rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable and had everything you need in them. Excellent shower. Very safe as you needed to use youre room key to operate the lifts and there was a digital safe in the room free of charge. The staff were so helpful and accommodating. It was a total pleasure staying here after my ghastly experience "next door" at FX Hotel. I will definitely stay there again when I am back in Bangkok. While it is in the business district, it is walking distance from the MRT and BTS public transportation. Staying in Unico for the second time (1st was in March 2013). The hotel is still clean and has a newish modern look. Great location (close to MRT Phetchaburi and Makassan City Line), good breakfasts, polite personnel. So it is convenient to take public transportation given Bangkok's busy traffic. Staff are friendly and room is clean and new. Location was excellent for me- right next to underground and airport link stations. For BTS, and shops, you just go 1- stop to Sukhumvit where there is Terminal21 and food!! Swimming pool was quite small and not cleaned properly. It was opened just till 7 p.m. Although the hotel was located next to a subway stop, the subway does not go the old city where most of the tourist attractions are, so you will still need to rely on taxis or tuk tuks if you want to see these areas. nothing to do near hotel.. taxi drivers usually don't know this place.. The lack of detailed instructions as to how to find the hotel from Makkasan air train terminal. This problem could be remedied rather easily on their website. The view from my room was a concrete wall, but that did make the room quiet. It was not a big issue for me. Noisy ac but that's not unusual. Every thing was good. I loved it all. Recommend this hotel strongly. It was our first hotel during our trip, after that we knew that it is possible to book much more cheap. Hotel is not in the center. Air conditioner noise. The neighborhood isn't great. Nothing critical. airport link is 6-7 minutes walking distance, so not that close with bags. 20 baht just to print a copy??. nothing. Food prices are high but that is normal for Bangkok. The lane towards the entrance of the Hotel can be improved. the pool was closed. swimming pool closes too early - at 7. Room was very small. I liked everything, may be they could have a hairdryer in the room.
