  Very friendly staff - special thanks to Maria - she was very helpful and pleasant - solved several questions we could not help. Nice modern hostel- hotel with clean and good-serviced rooms, comfortable kitchen, not far from the center and metro. There was no window in our room (some rooms are a little bit "under-ground" - but it is really no matte... what people say » r, as you just do not notice it - everything inside is at very good level, including ventilation,and as a plus - very quietly). Good price-quality lev - The best staff we ever met! Helpful and super-friendly, always available for a chat with plenty of suggestions on what to do and where to go in Stockholm. The hostel is new, modern and absolutely clean. We loved the kitchen area with plenty of facilities to cook and relax, there is free wifi all over the hostel and a computer with free internet, great to plan your day. The board at the entrance with the must-see places in Stockholm another brilliant idea. Definitely a hostel to recommend.

  We were celebrating a 60th birthday, so wished to have a hotel near the centre, which was comfortable and if required use of the restaurant. We found the hotel to exceed our expectations for location, near to the ferry station or a short walk along the coastline to the City centre. Our rooms were very modern in design, clean and in the room I stay... what people say » ed had the fortune of being allocated a larger more spacious bedroom and bathroom. The breakfast catered for all needs offering a choice of cooked and - Being at the coutryside in the center of Stockholm was amazing. You have to walk to arrive to the Palace? You don't go down a 20 floor hotel and are immediatly surrounded by shops? Who cares? You are 10 minutes away from all that, if you enjoy walking. If you like to ride a bike, you have your "private" garage next to the hotel, with 20 bikes ready to be rented; just buy the City Bikes card at the reception.   This hotel was outstanding. It was a few blocks outside the city center, but you could walk to everything and public transportation was real close.   I appreciated verything ! I didn't try the shared bathroom but only the toilets since I slept my two first nights (3 nights in total) in a double-bed room, but absolutely everything was wonderful : - comfortable quite big beds with strong woody frames (no noise) - easy key system with card or magnetic "plastic coin" - big case for valuable belongi... what people say » ngs in the "multiple beds bedroom" - everything was modern : bathrooms, doors, furniture, kitchen, ... - big kitchen with lots of utensils for cookin - The kitchen is a very nice addition to the stay at Skanstulls. Since food is so expensive in Stockholm, the kitchen gives a nice break to buy food and cook it. There are 2 grocery stores across the street too, In the hostel is a lot of tourist info which was really nice. I had a late check in that I forgot to mention and I almost wasn't able to get into the hostel. I caught the staff member at the last minute as she was leaving and she was so kind about my mistake. She was a very helpful girl
