  Stayed her for two nights to do sightseeing and pick up a new Volvo. Reception was very helpful and friendly. Three elevators so not much waiting. Breakfast Buffet was extremely generous and good. Hotel is connected to a large shopping mall that is accessable without going outside if the weather is bad. The mall has a lot of good restaura - Even if the street leading up to the hotel is a little shabby and the lobby area is not great the room I had was fine and spacious and the breakfast was good.

  The Barken Viking is very interesting being a converted old ship, it is right on the riverside and extremely close to central station which makes it quick and easy to get to if travelling in on bus from Landvetter Airport. Location is pretty good, next to the opera house and the ship museum, and at least a good 20 minutes walk from some of the nice streets in the center.
