I liked attitude of staffs, they are professional, very nice. I liked the decor of my room. I liked the spirit of breakfasts among people from other nation. It was wonderful 4 days in this hotel and in Göteborg! I hope once gonna travel to there again!!! I'm greeting Bianca!. Central location. Excellent breakfast. Helpful staff. My room was great, in Scandinavian style, comfortable. It was toward back, so deeply silent. It was the less expensive hotel during my journey in Scandinavia, and the best.

I have stayed in the old part of the hotel before and the rooms are nowhere near the same high standard.I was charged an extraordinary amount for an 8 minute local phone call -I was charged 846 sek ($139 usd or almost 90 Euros) for a call to alocal "toll free" Swedish phone number. The reception felt it lookedhigh and would "investigate" but I don't have any hopes of getting aresolution. That phone call cost me 11.20 Euros per minute!!! Tiny Bed. Room under the rooftop; no coffee making facilties in the room. Croissants for breakfast would have been nice. No baths in the rooms only showers. Big disappointment.There were some refurbishments being done at the time, which made the entrance to the hotel a little confusing and hard to find at first, but not too bad though. The room I was first offered was dismal, dank and so far down so many creaking corridors that I was actually concerned it would be a fire trap. Fortunately the bed wasn't made when I got to the room and in fairness they upgraded me to a very nice room in the new part of the hotel. The original room was so bad that I wouldn't have stayed in it under any circumstances.the bad in the room was too soft, there was no shower gel / shampoo, but it wasn't a problem. wireless internet in sorry state - disconnections every 10 minutes, passing trams outside a bit of a problem. The only view was a brick wall 2 meters from the window and there were no cofee/tea making facilities. The rooms were very cold, and we could not turn on heating.view from the room was a backyard, not nice. Not nice smell in the bathroom (in the old part of the hotel).There was some construction going on around the hotel that was not intrusive noisewise but visually unappealing.It seemed to be connected with upgrading the hotel. check in and check out time. The pool and sauna was out of service.No minibar in the room. not find paper and pen. There were two distinct parts to the hotel- the modernised attractive front part and the scruffy back part. My first night was in the back part, Wallpaper beginning to peel off the wall in two places. There was no airconditioning, the room smelled of old smoke. There was no soap. It was a very noisy room. The bacon at breakfast was too burnt. The staff were helpful and new room was great. More comprehensive driving instruction to the front door of the hotel and subsequently the parking area would have saved us 2 hrs. We drove around the city right in front of the hotel because there was not clear way into the hotel! Also it would helped to know if where exactly the car park is before we arrive. Booking.com should reinforce this to all hotels.
