Location is excellent, 5 minute walk from the palace. Air con worked perfectly room was very clean. Room service never called too early, didn't even see them at all, and the room was always done when we came back in the evening. The location was all that could be asked for, absolutely central and all the staff were most helpful and unobtrusive in their duties. We have already recommended the hotel to friends.all reviews »
Amazingly helpful staff (called the airport for us, arranged a shuttle to the airport) and beautiful hotel. Rooms are clean and have absolutely everything you will need. Great location, friendly staff, lovely building, not all the rooms have good view but ours did. Our room was clean, simply styled and just as we would have wanted.A good hotel and a good price (because of the discount) very nice to stay at. The location. The breakfast was very good. Its location and the rooms. We only paid 60€ per night and it was the best hotel I have ever been staying at. The first room was very good. The second one was rather dark and demanded some steps climbing, with bags and no elevator nor anyone to help.somewhat dark room but you have to expect that in an old building. I didn't have breakfast as it was too expensive. Ihad problems adjustin the Air Con, the room was like a fridge when I entered it. Tried to adjust it, and got it slightly warmer. I did however solve the problem by switching it off at night time.It says in the describcen of the hotel it should have pay-TV, it didn´t!. Really dark, and therefore a bit depressing.It remained a bit vague, but there was some confusion about myreservation that hadn't come thru which didn't make me feel too goodabout booking.com. Fortunately, there was 1 room left (!!) so that wasours. Threading the needle tho :-o. It was very very hot inside the room, and it was march!. I booked a double room but when I got into room there were 2 sigle beds pushed together. with my girlfriend on Valentines weekend this was not ideal as you pretty much fell throught the beds as you moved towards the middle.
