Location, location, location. for me is the most important the hotel is in the heart of everything

The room was large and quiet. It had generous windows and three layers of curtains, to block light. Location was very close to major sites and to the metro. The ventilation system was effective and quiet.

No parking available. We paid 35 euros per night in a neighbour parking

Excellent location just off "Gran Via" at the centre of Madrid ** Clean, comfortable rooms with balcony ** Good value for money ** Would highly recommend the hotel to anyone within that budget range!!!

The front desk staff was a bit abrupt, but this is typical for Spain.

I felt at home. It was a very cozy room and the ambience at the reception desk was cordial. The Loby was kind of an intimate place to relax. The hotel personnel was incredibly charming and helpful. It is a hotel that would recommed to my good friends traveling to Madrid.

The only thing I did not like is there was not a refrigerator in the room. I took medication that needed refrigeration, the hotel took care of that issue by allowing my medication to refrigerate in the cafeteri'a fridge. They were all very helpful and they always greeted me with a smile when I asked for my medication and the same when I returned it. That made up for the lack of fridge in room.

I slept well even though the pillow is not the type I normally use.

Though it looked clean, I did not like the faux wood flooring in the room. It feels hollow and as if it is a thin layer floating above an underlayment, which I realize it is. I like a more solid feel to the floor. Carpet over a solid underlayment would have been nicer in feel.

The location of the hotel was excellent, a side street just off the Gran Via, within easy reach of everything.

I wish the price included breakfast but it didn't and 27 euro per day for three people was excessive, given the fact that you could eat really cheaply nearby.

Very convenient location, nice interior/exterior decorations.

Walls are a bit too thin or noisy neighbor is too loud for me :)

The Hotel was busy but quiet and if you had any problems the staff where happy to help you.

It was on a busy street, but the soundproofing was good. The room was clean and the matress comfortable. It was a pretty good deal for the location and price.

Everything smelled of smoke, which is pretty typical of everything in Europe. The reception by the staff, although professional, was not particularly friendly or welcoming. I understand that it is a busy hotel in a busy city and they get a lot of people staying one or two nights. Tired travellers usually appreciate a warm welcome - afterall its our money- we're keeping them in a job.
