Although it is rated as 2 starts, the comfort is like 3 or even 4 stars hotel - the rooms and the bathrooms are big, the decoration is excellent, very cozy atmosphere. Situated right in the city center, easy access to main atractions, one step to the metro station. Coffee mashine and drinks mashine available at the floor, also computer with Internet. Location: Royal Palace, Plaza Mayor, Metro station, ATM machine, McDonald's, 24-hour momandpop grocery store (low prices) all just 1-5 minutes away on foot. Balcony, A/C. Easy keycard entry, Elevator for luggage. Added 2 days easily to reservation.

Wireless does not work in all the rooms, so you have to go to the common areas (but this was not a big problem for me). 1 euro for the safe box for every time you open/close it is a bit too much. The Internet did not work well.No breaksfast facilities. Tea or coffe facilities would have been appreciated. no english speaking assistant. Nothing. Thin walls are the rule in Spain, and small rooms/bathrooms are nothing unusual either, so nothing worth complaining about.The staff only knows spanish which can make communications diffycult. No refrigerator, no pot, but nice room compare to the price. Stuff don't speak English. The noise from the other rooms is, sometimes, too high.noisy, especially rooms at the front, some rooms are very small and have narrow beds. location and cleaniness. Well, not big trouble but the staff could not speak English at all. The hotel was really small and far too noisy (not even noise of the street but of the doors, door ring, stairs, etc...). The room was just far too small (not to mention the bed - size of one for children) and the window was actually facing a wall so no sun coming in directly. the rooms are too small, there was this excessive perfum smell in the whole hotel, I had to open the window to get fresh air and to be able to breathe. The internet does not work in the room (which was a big annoyance) . The walls seems to be very thin i.e. I was able to hear the guy next door snoring (may be he would say the same :) ).
