I loved staying here.The staff was lovely and my room was convenient to everything. I will stay here again next year for certain. convenience and very good value.Kitchen open for guests 24hr. The apartment was agreeable, giving a sense of being at home. It was great to use the kitchen to prepare your meal. Very good location. The room and the rest of the hotel were clean. The price was not excessive,. but i found a *much* better place (a 3-star hotel, with ensuite facilities, wi-fi etc) for just 4 euro per day more. location. Location. The room was well-decorated and very clean and the receptionist was helpful. The room was in a good position.Only good thing abaut this BB is location. This is not a bed and breakfast it is a hostal with shared communal bathrooms. They were not even willing to give me a second key for the room. When i turned up trying to get in later at night the staff were rude and told me not to leave without my key. This was not possible as there were two of us sharing the room.I rated cleanliness fair only because the building was under construction and there was alot of dust. The staff tried to stay ahead of it. the pillows were very small and there was only 1 each. We arrived during a holiday. There were poor indications where to find the apartment within the main building. We had to knock in different doors …
Would be great to have TV in the bedrooms. It was very noicy, as the windows of our room were to the very busy street.Almost everything. (1) they demanded full payment (for nine days) as soon as I arrived - but they already had my credit card details (2) they also demanded a "deposit" of 30 euro, but without explaining what it was for. (3) my room was not cleaned once during my stay. And (4) most important (this explains (1) to (3)) , there were no staff present in the hotel for about 21 hours a day. Hopeless!. really small rooms with just 2 beds, although booked a double, a cupboard, no chairs no sink. Shared bathroom which I did not opt for. I was very upset to see the quallity of the room considering the price! No ensuite bathroom (it was round down the corridor and round the corner) and breakfast was very basic. In fact, we immediately went out and looked for another hotel - just down the road were 4 star hotels which were cheaper. After a night, we moved out.The 1 staff neglected to mention our room faced a noisy road until payment had been processed,at which point she remarked "I hope youve got earplugs".We said we would check out in the morning-she took to be at 11am-no earlier.We had to wait for her to shower until we could check out.On return to collect bags,we were spoken to rudely as we were 5min late!Room was nothing like on the site photos. Everything exepyt location. It is not a hotel it is an apartment/ hostal with no proper reception or service.
