Lovely apartment situated in a lovely part of Tromso. The owner was so welcoming and even gave us dinner one evening. Thanks to him we also saw the Northern Lights for three hours on our final night from a lake which is a short walk from the apartment. We will definitely return and stay there again and would recommend it to friends. -

... what people say » to stay in a chain hotel. This is a comfortable, warm apartment. The added bonus is being able to see the Northern lights from the kitchen window. It is a hundred yards from the main shopping street and an easy walk to everything worth visiting.

I liked the location which was very convenient and the rooms were quite comfortable. The breakfasts were quite substantial to set you up for the day. The small downside for me was the late night bar which i passed by the previous year has now shut down. There were no explanations why but I remember getting a very nice night cap in there once. -

At first we were allocated an unrenovated room but after a quick conversation at the hotel reception we were given a fully renovated suite. This made our stay very comfortable. The location is excellent, particularly if you are taking the Hurtigruten boat along the coast. The embarkation point is 50 metres away. The hotel is central, and the tourist office and airport bus stop are even closer. Its great virtue is that it is cosy and friendly, and you are encouraged to use it as a base whether you have checked out or not.

The hotel is very clean, comfortable and environmentally conscious. The room was comfortable with heated bath room floors. The staff is very helpful and breakfast is very good with a wide variety. The complimentary afternoon waffles are fantastic. You cannot beat the location. The hotel is in the center of everything and a two minute walk from the airport bus, Hurtigruten ship terminal, popular bars and restaurants and main shopping strip.
